One of the few really good things coming in the remaster, Warpriests with Master proficiency in their deity's favoured weapon.

I'd say the better part of Remaster is Font spells not being tied to Charisma anymore and automatically scaling at certain levels. That means finally Warpriest is not as MAD while retaining all them juicy font slots. Imo master prof at level 19 ain't gonna do much in most games. Also they finally get prof in all martial weapons, not just their diety fav one, but I think they get crit spec only in dieties fav weapon. I'd say it's a welcomed buff for Warpriest.

They desperately needed this; having played a warpriest, they suffer badly in melee because of that maxing out at expert at both their spellcasting DC and their weapon attacks. (I say “maxed out” even though they get master spell casting at 19th level, they might as well not have them at all, because very, very few campaigns hit 19th and 20th level, you might as well say they never get it.)

This is a GREAT comparison. Just played my FIRST game of PF2e earlier tonight via the Beginner Box. I played Kyra who I thought was Cloistered, but she's a War priest! 😮

you could still just get the armor and weapons feats for the caster cleric. dwarf clerics

I thought the two-action heal/harm spells also get a bonus of 8 damage?

They become ranged but ONLY increase healing, not damage, which I find to be an understandable bummer. So 2A heal on a positive character heals d8+8, but 2A heal on a negative foe deals d8 damage.
