Interesting video guys. I’m a 12 Hcap and my general struggle is my irons. I don’t play all that often but when I do it’s the irons that suffer. I always feel I need a little more help with my irons and these clubs could be the answer. Or the cobra t-rails or Wilson Launchpad. Cheers

I am being lazy today and not working so having a look again at the great videos. what is the main reason Gareth wouldn't put these in the bag? is it purely cosmetic because the numbers seem pretty good and the value is second to none!

They go high early, they spin well, they go about the correct distance and they tend to draw. What isn't to like for a beginner or senior player? I have used the previous model and they went well. I have used the Tour Edge Bazooka iron-hybrids and one of their E521 iron- hybrids. They are easy to hit as well. Perhaps the TE C521 models might be easier to cut. ( less off set)

Completely agree, for the beginner and senior player even having hybrids all the way to 6 iron would make the game an awe full lot easier!

@@golfiq The downsides I can see are 1) The are difficult to fade if you need to in comparison to a cavity backed iron 2) on very hard baked surfaces they might bounce the club up into the equator of the ball and cause a thin shot 3) Users of these style of clubs might get teased by" golf traditionalists" until they see the results. I am even considering using a 7 iron-hybrid in my set along with the 6.

@@kymstock1852 Sounds like some pretty minor downsides. It's weird to me that golf is such a difficult game already, yet clubs that make it a little easier are frowned upon. I'm done playing anything that makes the game any harder than it could be.

From other videos I've seenthey did compare all 3 that you mention. These irons outperformed the others. The con though is they come as is you can't modify them unless you pay extra for a fitting. The cobra and the Wilson you can order what specs you want.

8000 spin from a 7i...put in the bag...who cares the looks..just fitted 4 for the shaft !!!!
