I have just bought the Wilson lunch pad iorns very similar to those and they are brilliant. They are so easy to hit and very forgiving. Best set of iorns i have ever bought

An old boy 70 plus at the driving range gave me a swing of his Cleveland HB Launcher Irons, I couldn't believe how much easier I found them to use. They make the game so much easier for the average / below average golfer!

People always give themselves too much credit and are shame to use irons like these. They say, "They are ugly, too bulky." I do not care what the clubs look like as long as my score card looks pretty. I was a 5 hdcp using the smaller "cool" clubs and I decided to give these a go. LOL now I'm scratch golfer, and have no regrets. I can hit fades, draws, punch shots, stingers, what ever I desired. People are just too proud. Your pride keeps my pockets full.

I bought the previous model for my wife. I tested them and after two games thought that these irons are really good. I could see that they would fill a gap in the 20 to 30degree area of many golfer's bags

I have been hitting the HiBore driver for years and it it the best driver I have ever used. I can count on the ball going where I am trying to hit it. I don't play enough anymore to warrant buying new irons, but if I did, these would be on my short list!

I've added the 5i and 4i HB's to my ORKA set. These are basically 4 and 3 iron equivalents. My reason is I don't get on with Hybrids that well and these are in between a normal CB iron and a traditional Hybrid. I had a play at a shop and I was pleasantly surprised at my ability to actually hit the ball with them. Hybrids I rarely hit, even half decently. The proof will be when I get them and take them out on the course for a proper test. I also have these in a slightly lighter shaft than by Irons 58.5g as opposed to 65g for my ORKA Shafts.

WoW, got these yesterday, the 4 and 5 HB Launchers, I am very happy with the results, surprisingly easy to hit and make a good contact with the ball. NOTE I am a +20 handicapper, but I do hit my 5i better than my 6i which slightly befuddles me. Anyway these are great for me and now give me better options and maybe, just maybe I can get to the Green in 3 shots on the Par 5's I play on, before now 4 shots minimum.

Great review Lee I had the Launcher easy to hit but got too much spin and lost distance. Interesting when Today’s golfer did iron tests the hybrid irons were the most forgiving but the Taylormade Sim virtually matched them for forgiveness but ahead on feel and distance. Will be interesting what happens with the 2021 ranges but would not be surprised to see the Sim 2 max o/S top of the pile again.

Hi Lee . I've only been playing a couple of months down at RND , and having a 28 handicap i needed some help . So after some advice i bought these . Definitely helping me to get the ball in the air . And yes , my mates think they're ugly but i just don't care 😀🏌️‍♂️

It’s really depends on your delivery and desired yardage. I have them for fittings at ashbury if you ever fancy a trip down when my fitting studio is finished. We can take them on course too

Great review I think forget ego and if it works play them. Would be interested in seeing these against Wilson Launchpad and Cobra t rail then we can see the winner or any differences or are they all the same? Then down to looks and price. Then how would Sim max2 O/S , BB21 , and Cobra F max perform. On looks and finish T rail looks the nicest and option of hybrids in set.Also like Wilson D9.

I went back to Wilson d350 from cobra forged tec irons. Threw my ego away now playing so much better. I honestly believe peoples ego or this the type of club I should be using is hurting peoples game. also id say average loft for 7 is around 30 these days.

I want these clubs, I can get them much cheaper online than from local retailers that would do a fitting....I am a high handicap golfer looking to enjoy myself once a month for the next decade. Played ten years with hand down irons regular length, would i be fine just buying these stock and not worry about fitting?

So, my understanding is that even if you lowered your handicap by say 3, you still would not game these just because you don't like the look? I guess I just do not understand golfers with low handicaps wanting a thin line across the top and and discarding the use of these type clubs because they do not look good to you. Oh well, your loss I guess.

These don't work for me because they launch too much. But I'd have no problem using them if they did. The workability isn't there for me personally.

Played with a young lad from Spain last Monday had a set of these as where he comes from in Barcelona course slightly shorter only had 1 hybrid and these in his bag, he was using a 9 when I’m using a 7 ect , lots of height , I’m struggling a bit with my irons, had a go hit them fine , would I play them no just don’t like the look of them

Interesting your ego wouldn’t let you use these but it lets you wear the shirts you do !!! I would be interested in trying these as I’m an amputee and have struggled with my irons since starting play again
