Kind of off topic but for me as a brazilian everything in the video is a wild card. We traditionally wear white to the new year's eve at first because of afro-brazilian religions because it's a sacred comemoration (My family is umbandista) and then later people from other religions adopted as well this tradition but now each color has a meaning and it's more of a superstition to people outside of thoses religions. People still generally wear white as the main piece with accessories of those other colors. Yellow means money, pink is love, red is s*x and the list goes on. Most people don't wear black for being associated with grief.
