Prophecy is still being fulfilled gents. The number of signs converging/coming together only increases by the day which are ALL leading up to Jesus' imminent return and the rapture of His born again Church (see 2 Peter 3, 1 Timothy 4:1-5, 1 Timothy 6:9-10, 2 Timothy 3:1-5, 2 Timothy 4:3-4, Romans 1:18-32, Luke 17:20-37, Luke 21:5-36, Matthew 24, and Jude, all leading to Revelation 4-22). Believe and trust in Jesus, putting your faith in His shed blood on the cross for the forgiveness of your sins (1 Corinthians 15:3-4), exchanging His perfect life for your fallen one, and let today be the day of your salvation (John 3:3/2 Corinthians 5:17). Admit you're a sinner and fall short (Romans 3:10/23) Believe in Jesus as your Savior (Romans 10:9-10) Call upon His name for forgiveness (Romans 10:13)

@ Yes, there is a rapture, but not BEFORE the tribulation. It occurs AFTER it ends. And believers are not appointed for God's Wrath. Tribulation in the world for those 7 years is NOT His Wrath. Tribulation is the unbelievers persecuting the believers. God's Wrath comes after the rapture, which again, does not happen until AFTER completion of the 7 year great tribulation period.

@edgarmorales4476Күн бұрын
We have been told that God sends sicknesses, plagues, famines, destruction to nations when they do not keep His Laws and that we ourselves are punished by the wrath of God for sins we have committed. What is punishment, but evil-doing under the guise of goodness? Evil does not come from God. How can God be of 2 parts-good and evil? Therefore, no control for "good" or "evil" is exercised by God. If there were, the world would not be in such a shocking state of upheaval and misery. It is only in our minds that we conceive good and evil, only in our hearts do we think and feel it. These thoughts and feelings have nothing to do with God, who is active within everyone, bringing us every good thing-if we will but believe this is so. It is our beliefs in good and evil, and the good and evil in our hearts-which brings us sicknesses. In reality, we live within the Kingdom of Heaven, and the Kingdom of Heaven is within us, and we are governed by God-but because most people believe in the punishments from God, believe that a blood sacrifice saved them or believe that they are heir to sickness, poverty and misery-or all the above-they create with their minds the very things they do not want. But be not downcast-rejoice and be glad-and know that those who experience lack, far from being "punished" and "abandoned" by God, even though they have "sinned," are truly blessed.

Unfortunately it’s the rich that control the institutions that would be responsible for the tax, so it isn’t happening. Let’s hope individually they see where they would need to follow Jesus Christ and love their neighbors and enemies who live in their communities or states. Jesus Christ’s solution is to love God and if you are sincere in doing that, you will love your neighbors and love your enemies. Matthew 22:37-40, Matthew 5:44.
@TimMaisteКүн бұрын
Such a naive point of view. Research how much money is already given through governments and charities to improve the lives of the poor and needy. And it hasn’t helped has it. Kicking in another $250 billion wouldn’t make a difference, it would just line the pockets of governments and organizations that claim to do the work of helping the poor and needy. Giving a hungry person a sandwich temporarily helps their hunger issue but it returns the next day. Giving them a job gives them an opportunity to get long term help and solve their problem. That money in the hands of the billionaires will probably create more jobs and help more people than giving it to corrupt governments.

I am a Christian but I struggle with the following issue.... When Jesus was dying on the cross one of the criminals next to him decided to put his faith in Jesus and asked Jesus to remember him. Jesus replied to that criminal that this day he would be with Him in Paradise. My issue is that the Bible teaches that there will be a Rapture of the chosen...the elect by Christ, and that the dead in Christ would be risen from the dead first and then the living believers in Jesus Christ would be caught up in the sky with Jesus and those that were dead. So then, if the criminal on the cross was told by Jesus that "today" he would be with Him in Paradise, aren't all the dead people who died in Christ throughout the history of the world already in Heaven(Paradise) with Jesus already? Why do they have to be raptured again if they're already in Heaven? Am I missing something here or does this simply mean that the criminal on the cross is still waiting to be in Paradise with Jesus, but since he died believing in Jesus, he lays dormant until being risen like the rest of Christians who died before and after him??? I don't get it. I know the Bible also teaches that a day is like one thousand years to God so anyone who dies in Christ will only have to technically wait anywhere between 1 or 7 days depending on which century or millennium they died and if the 7000 year period of Earth starting and ending is true. Does anyone have the knowledge to explain this to me? Do we immediately go to be in the presence of Jesus when we die or do we wait laying dormant until being raptured???

I’m going to include 2 passages of text below. I want to say, the methods of how we are resting with Christ or chilling with him in Heaven is very low on the totem pole of importance in my own estimation. I believe Scripture is clear that those who die, are “sleeping” securely in the salvation that Christ has. It says a lot that we are IN Christ, seated with Him in the spiritual realm, so I believe all those we die with faith in Christ are resting in Him until His return whether conscious or asleep, including the criminal. I’d also recommend doing diligent study on end time prophecy and revelation if it’s a huge issue for you, but it’s probably better to just be content in the fact of Gods faithfulness & trustworthiness in His Word. “But we do not want you to be uninformed, brothers, about those who are asleep, that you may not grieve as others do who have no hope. For since we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so, through Jesus, God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep. For this we declare to you by a word from the Lord, that we who are alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, will not precede those who have fallen asleep. For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the sound of the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord.” 1 Thessalonians 4:13-17 ESV & ““There was a rich man who was clothed in purple and fine linen and who feasted sumptuously every day. And at his gate was laid a poor man named Lazarus, covered with sores, who desired to be fed with what fell from the rich man’s table. Moreover, even the dogs came and licked his sores. The poor man died and was carried by the angels to Abraham’s side. The rich man also died and was buried, and in Hades, being in torment, he lifted up his eyes and saw Abraham far off and Lazarus at his side. And he called out, ‘Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus to dip the end of his finger in water and cool my tongue, for I am in anguish in this flame.’ But Abraham said, ‘Child, remember that you in your lifetime received your good things, and Lazarus in like manner bad things; but now he is comforted here, and you are in anguish. And besides all this, between us and you a great chasm has been fixed, in order that those who would pass from here to you may not be able, and none may cross from there to us.’” Luke 16:19-26 ESV

Excellent question. But let me clear it up for you. These evil spirits you talk about I'm guessing you mean Demons? When the Bible says 'spirit is good,' it's talking about the Holy Spirit and the spirit God gave us to live in His truth. But not all spirits are good. Demons are spirits that rebelled against God. They chose pride and power over obedience to Him. Revelation 12:7-9 explains this: there was a war in heaven, and Satan and his followers were thrown out because they refused to submit to God. So, while spirits created by God were meant to be good, some chose to turn away from Him. That’s why they’re evil because they simply act against God’s will.
