Its impossible not to doubt on really anything. Doubting yourself, doubting your friends, doubting your relationships. It all happens but what you do is find evidence to trust and then you gotta take that leap of faith. When you get in a car with someone else driving. How do you know for certain they wont crash? You dont but because you trust them, you take a leap of faith to get in that car with them. If you didnt trust them not to crash the car, you'd never get in the car with them.

@TheoSkeptomai first off, the implication of your question requires a fallible, sinful man to reveal his own personal experience with the Creator. All i can do is refer you to go straight to the Source for yourself. However i don't think you're genuinely seeking any evidence, you're just trolling, or looking for an argument. I'm not interested in convincing you of anything or converting you to anything. Flaw in Stuart's argument: if roman attestation says the tomb was empty and alleges that disciples stole the body, then it doesn't support the resurrection. I think people tend to choose to reject Christ and the teachings of the Bible. Because they want to be their own god and choose to be self righteous. They have a hard time accepting that Jesus was a sacrifice for them and lived a perfect life on their behalf and took their sins upon HIM. So they don't have to go to hell if they accept HIM. It is honestly just that simple. But WE choose to make it harder than what it really and truly is.

I want to talk to this man, i have questions that I think he has the intelligence and wisdom to answer. I envy his faith, and for anyone who has an answer to my question I will be extremely happy. My main doubt of a higher being, one that created life as we know it, is that even though cell dna is unfathomably complex, and the chance of it occouring naturaly is astronomically low, the universe is also unfathomably large. And with the trillions and trillons of galexies, and the billions of stars and solar systems in each, it makes sense to me that at least one of those planets (im refering to our own) could have the random circumstance to create life. And untill I think that is improbable, i will have doubt in my mind of a higher being. If you have any answer, im excited to hear it.
@xerxesmontes98282 күн бұрын
Out of all the disorder in the universe, so many infinitesimal things had to come together to even create life, let alone complex life, to begin with. Order and design does not come about by chance. Simply look at the structure and I daresay beauty of a cell, going to become an organelle, a tissue, an organ, an organ system. So many little things had to come together, in a universe that continues to be more chaotic (entropy), is grounds enough for me to believe we were created. You're right, it is possible that in a universe so vast, our planet and our lives could have come by chance, yes it is possible. But it is leagues beyond, way more probable, that a higher being of order and design (God), created life and human beings.

Stuart says an interesting thing at about 15:00, he said "within the first 100 years after Jesus's resurrection, these creeds were passed all over the known world" The known world according to who?, virtually the entire world had been populated long before then. I've stated many times on here that the Bible would not reach the shores of the American continent for almost another 1500 years.
@Pans1toКүн бұрын
Even if the Bible wouldn’t have reached America until the 1600’s don’t you think the oral testimonies had a pretty long time to spread all around the world?
@bonnie43ukКүн бұрын
@@Pans1to Oral testimonies are highly unreliable, people passing on information by simple word of mouth is fraught with problems. Human beings have a propensity to mis hear, exaggerate, add, remove original information. The simple 'telephone game' is a classic example of how passing a verbal message from person to person can and does end up completely different.

For someone to believe, you gotta be open to it, read the Bible, then reflect upon what you read and how it aligns with the real world. If it doesn’t for you, so be it, at least you tried, ya know?

The best defense is to attack, that's what I saw here. And according to Cliffe's logic it's safe to say God was created too since life comes from life and theists don't you dare try to put God as the apex life because he has to have a creator.

This guy just doesn’t want to face the truth. I feel like people fight this so much because they just want to continue living how they wanna live and don’t wanna accept what is true.

The proof also of God's power in Christianity is the radical transformation of those whom God saves. They loved sin before now they love righteousness. They hated God and disregarded him before salvation, but love and obey him after salvation. They were looters, fornicators, murderers etc but were radically converted to now live holy. Because God saved them and now lives in them.
@HiThereHeyThere4 күн бұрын
Also at the end guy... no. All are hell bound for all are sinners. However because of Jesus Salvation offer, believer will be saved. As far as what about those who never heard- they had creation and their conscience. They know God exists but choose to not go to him, knowing theyre accountable. They love their sin. As to degrees of punishment, yes those who had access to the Bible, or heard of Jesus, or even sat in a pew who rejected him or embraced an idolatrous view of him/Christianity [to suit their sins] will have a higher degree of punishment in Hell, as will apostates. Get right with God today,and you won't have anything to worry about.

I think that Stuart and Cliffe looked agressive in this one. That soul is young and searching. He needs more guidance with a calm language and mind as Bible tells us to do. In my opinion it would be good to compare historical credibility of Jesus and Caesar. Then after showing that they are both equally historical from archeological perspective.. Then follow up with question of how do we confirm from our experience truth about Caesar and truth about Jesus. The lands said to be conquered by Caesar (Galllia) speak language from latin group. Then I would use evidence for people living way better when being Christian and upholding those values. My closing words would be that despite the fact that the Gospel sounds way too good to be true, it can be proven to be true by evidence both historical and evidence from personal experience. That would bring me to conclusion that truth is not about what we like, but what is the truth based on evidence and that there is no more possible evidence, that that gentlemen can get about a 2000 years old story.

there is a lot more solid evidence for Julius Caesar than there is for Jesus.
