What are you looking for is the question? We are walking in faith holding onto hope(Him) wherever we are, appreciating what we are given, simply doing the best we can (where in charity and love), we carry our cross knowing God is good same always, looking not to what we are lacking but knowing we have everything we need(and most parts that cannot be seen). He is our strength, the breath in our lungs and every heartbeat which is given us. Let's give Him thanks and praise. When we turn our worries into worship, we will see our burdens as blessings as we know He is all we need. God bless you and keep you.

Saying that God can not be God when he limits his power is like saying a doctor is not a doctor unless he's on job at the hospital. Just because he is not at the hospital does not mean he can not use his medical knowledge to help others outside of his workplace. The same goes for God. He can still use his power, but he chooses to limit himself by not doing so.

@TheoSkeptomai well first I shall bring in Cliffe's argument about historical evidence. Christ bled and died on a cross and had risen 3 days later, and 500 people saw him. Before his crucifixion, he performed miracles, one being healing the blind. Now, for my own evidence, it is prayer. I have received many things from prayer, both tangible and intangible. I've seen too many things for me to call a mere coincidence.

The constraint is because of humans. God has to keep our free will, while not destroying us according to His justice. Jesus was pure and innocent and without sin. It was Him who was morally perfect who takes the punishment we all deserve and took all of our sin (2 Cor. 5:21) and nailed our sin and death to the Cross. Justice was displayed when Christ was crucified and it please GOD to crush Him as a guilt offering in order for justice to be served for the sins of the world (Isaiah 53:10). It was the shedding of His blood that qualified as a propitiation for the sins of the whole world. Jesus Christ took our place on the Cross and the reason He stayed on the Cross was His love for you, each and every one of us whoever has lived and gives all of us the Way to be reconciled back to GOD through our genuine repentance and faith towards GOD so we all can have the opportunity to freely obtain salvation, which is through faith (a deep-abiding trust) in Jesus Christ our LORD. May the LORD open your eyes to the Cross and help you understand the value and meaning of why Jesus had to suffer and die on that Cross, rather than knowing Jesus just dying on a Cross but in believing in Him and paying our debt of sin. Either we will pay for all the wrong we've commited against a holy, righteous, pure and just GOD, or Jesus. There is much more to learn why all of us are desperately in the need of the Savior, the Only Cure to the last enemy which is death. ✝️🔥☝️

Lovers of God pursue a life of peace that’s made easier by embracing all those things that make up the simple life. If we jettison those things that weigh us down such as politics and world affairs-it allows us to focus more and more on our God, and His amazing achievements. And this intense admiration of God is indeed serious worship of Him. Fortunately His great accomplishments are everywhere to be seen. In our imagination we see the beauty of birds in the greenery of the trees, and white powder puff skies framed in the comfort of those beautiful hues of blue. Or we let the beach teach us to smile at the sight of those running wet dogs and their childish chums, foot printing the sand with their common cold feet. Long lonely beaches are lovely places to listen to the surf, watching it do its thing. It never gives up but keeps on trying. Time after time it retreats again, and returns again for another serious try. Lets forget about the other guy’s bumper sticker and instead look afar off into the distant horizon of wide open spaces, because that should be our view. And so too should we forget anything that might beset us, and instead allow the tonic of God’s amazing creation to swamp our thinking. This will happen when we worship Him in stunning awe as we behold His amazing achievements💒

Christ knew he was a gift of God of salvation to the people-to the world-NOT-as supposed and taught down the centuries-salvation from the punishment meted out by the wrath of God to "sinners"-BUT-to save people from the daily repetition of the same mistakes in wrong thinking-wrong thinking which created their misfortunes, poverties, sicknesses and miseries. Because Christ unconditionally loved the human race so deeply, he was prepared to teach and heal in defiance of the Jewish Priests. Christ was prepared to "die" on the cross to reveal the Truth about God as Creator, the Truth about Life, the Truth about Existence and the Truth about Love. THIS IS THE TRUTH BEHIND THE CRUCIFIXION OF CHRIST AND ALL THE REST WE HAVE HEARD IS MAN-MADE CONJECTURE ARISING OUT OF HUMAN THINKING AND HUMAN MYTHS. Christ was a gift from God to humankind to rescue them from their own blind thinking and feelings which are creating their own troubled lives, and to help them find the true Path of Life leading to the joy, abundance and perfect wholeness of the Kingdom of Heaven. These were the perceptions, the desires, the intentions, the goals and the thoughts which Christ bore within his mind and heart. This was the earthly mental-emotional framework clothing the spiritual wisdom hidden within the head and figure of Christ.

I understand the significance of the crucifixion and why God sacrificed His Son-to forgive us. Death is not just about the flesh; it could mean the end, or it could mean a new chapter. For me, the crucifixion is a symbol of both an end and a new beginning. It sparks enlightenment for those who witnessed it or heard about it-that a God died and humbled Himself for us. Some part of humanity died as well. Some of the people who witnessed that event have died, and that’s part of God’s purpose-He wanted some part of us to die. What part of us? That’s why Christ said, "It is finished." When He rose from the dead, it symbolized the new us, a new humanity. We rose with Him, not as another human form, but as another human deep inside us. Christianity spread, and so did the Bible. It has shaped humanity for centuries and led us toward the future. Imagine if it hadn’t happened-the Roman Empire would have remained as ruthless as it was. That event marked the beginning of the end for the Roman Empire. Though the empire helped conquer many lands, the very king himself eventually became a Christian. But that’s a whole different story. Eventually, humanity missed the point again, and up until today, we continue to mess things up. But there’s a part of us today that has changed because of the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. Whether you like it or not, it has enacted and altered humanity's progress. And it altered great good for humanity. But, as I’ve said, humanity would always mess things up, and I don’t know when, but eventually, humanity will mess up badly enough that God Himself will judge us. It’s not the judgment you might think, but the judgment of nature. Eventually, humanity will destroy itself.

The problem is so many people think that because God didn’t set things up the way they would have, he is unfair, or unjust, or evil… and some people REJECT him because of that. The bottom line is that there is so much that we don’t know… like the intricacies of all the moving parts of God’s master architecture, where all the dependencies are, what the ripple effects are, how timing plays a role, how free will (with humans and with spiritual beings) reconfigures choices and outcomes in real-time. We don’t understand the battles going on behind the scenes between good angels and “fallen” ones. We don’t even understand how prayer enters into the equation. All we have is our puny little brains and our limited knowledge of the universe (both seen and unseen). It is the ultimate in hubris and disrespect to say that the almighty, sovereign, holy, righteous God (Creator of space, time, the universe and our individual souls) screwed up and did things incorrectly.
@etherealblacketernal2889
@etherealblacketernal2889 15 күн бұрын
@IthinkImOk-k7g I disagree. I think the issue is when you compare all the things that the bibles say God wants, he could have already done but chose not to. The bottom line is we don't need to know the intricacies of a master architecture or any dependencies, ectopic. That sounds like an enormous bowl of excuses. We're trying to add complexity to a simple problem. God is all-powerful, yet only uses his power to punish. The ultimate in hubris is to say that some are more special than everyone else. That they're chosen by the "almighty, sovereign, holy, righteous God." That those of us who can not believe in stories "reject" something that we don't believe in nor do we have a reason to.

God didn't make a mistake when He created Man... God knew what was going to happen before He ever created us. And He created us anyway... But knowing the future and experiencing it as it's happening are different... It hurts more as it's happening then it does before it happens, even though you know it's going to happen. So when all of man turned on God before the Flood, it hurt God... And that's what He meant in Genesis 6:6. But God still spared us through Noah and his children.

You know, justice is based on what you do to others-it’s your actions that define it. For me, justice is when you do things that benefit humanity on a larger scale. That’s true justice. It’s not justice when your actions disrupt the very fabric of humanity. God wants humans to be successful-that’s all there is to it. He guides us toward that success. Forget about heaven and hell for a moment, because no one truly knows what they are. Based on descriptions, these two represent the success and the fall of the human race. God’s plan is for all of us to follow His path to success. Yes, we fail-we’re only human. That’s why He sent His own Son to teach us how to walk with God and how to be successful. Jesus taught us that there will be sacrifices and hardships, but if we love and trust God-or in other words, stick to the plan-we’ll get there. I have a strong feeling that in the near future, the word love will be far more powerful than we ever imagined. And when that time comes, we’ll all be in awe, realizing just how foolish we’ve been as a human race.

IF God has foreknowledge, how can he be sorry that he made human beings, since he ALREADY KNEW exactly what they would do and how bad they would be? So he decided to judge them?? He has no right to do that if he knew they would sin and created them anyway.
@TheGreenFifty
@TheGreenFifty 3 күн бұрын
Actually, God is just laying down a representation for us to truly understand the very foundation of why we are here. God set rules, and those rules are meant to guide us toward success. But as humans always do, we mess it all up. So, God gave His Son to lead us once again and to help us understand what it truly means to be human. Through this, He also sent a message that He is not a harsh or rude God. He has rules, but even if you jeopardize humanity, He can forgive you. That’s really it. If you’re smart enough to think about God’s grand plan, it’s simple: He cares deeply about humanity’s success. And yet, we humans keep messing it up-over and over again. Judgment comes when we mess up so badly that it leads to our extinction, or even the extinction of all life forms. God entrusted us with the responsibility to take care of His creation. Rules are necessary for that, just like a company needs rules to run its business. If one person in the company messes up, it can affect the entire operation. It’s the same with life. When one human makes a grave mistake, it creates a domino effect that can harm all life forms He created. That’s what God doesn’t want. He wants us to succeed. Now, imagine if those rules weren’t set. Imagine if the Bible didn’t exist-there would be no ethics, no sense of morality, and no laws. Humanity would be even more messed up. Given our capabilities to create and gain knowledge-almost like gods-we would end up destroying this little blue planet He created. That’s how I interpret it. God is simply concerned about us. And yet, what’s wrong with humanity that we can’t follow a basic rule: love? I mean, seriously...

Cliffe and I come to totally different conclusions when reading the New Testament gospels, of course he's absolutely free to believe those stories to be true. Even as a small child I had my doubts as to their veracity. As I've gotten older, those doubts have only grown. I'm grateful Cliffe allows me the opportunity to discuss my doubts in these comments. Long may that continue. Christianity has played a massive part in my life in one way or another. It's certainly made me think.

Human beings are very diverse in the things they believe. When you say you don't doubt any of it, it just shows how differently we see things. I was taught wrong about the Trinity. And now im crying trying to figure out how im going to unlearn that Jesus is actually Gods literal Divine Son and just and incarnation of Hinself in a body. Thats so hard. I feel like in a way Jesus was taken from me. Son and Father. How is Jesus His own Father? Im so confused. I WANT to understand and i hate that i feel like a Pharisee right now. I thought Jesus was His actual son and God was His actual Father. Both equally Divine, sinless and Holy. But its not two...its One...? I want to understand. I do. Im trying. But there are so many passages that do indicate theyre separate beings. For one... Jesus prayed to God! Addressed Him as HIS Father. A voice from Heaven was Heard when Jesus was baptized... "this is MY SON"... Hes in two places at once...? Its not two separate souls? Even it says He sits at His Fathers right hand. How does He sit at His Fathers right hand... if He IS God? I just cant understand. Is the terminology just something im not understanding? Does "son" mean something different in the Bible... having multiple meanings like word does... in saying "The Word was with God, the Word was God"... and meaning the Word is another name for Jesus. I never knew that. Im just so confused.

The I am statements as in the old testament when God spoke to Moses and told him his Name is I AM. Then understand that God is more complex than a human compared to an ant. One God revealed as three persons.

The truth regarding Jesus's human state was, by common consent of the disciples, suppressed to give greater credence to Jesus's supposed "Divinity" and ministry. According to the Bible, it was said of Jesus that he was the "only Son of God." Why then, did Jesus frequently refer to himself as the "Son of Man?" Jesus specifically made these statements to counteract the beliefs in his "Divinity" and to impress on people's minds that he was of the same physical origins as everyone else. Jesus intended us to understand that what he could do, we could also do, if we only had his knowledge and followed the path of unconditional love for right thinking and right action. So many myths have arisen around Jesus's earthly person and his SPIRITUAL WISDOM that it is time to be rid of them as completely as possible, since they are preventing people from evolving spiritually. Those, who have been indoctrinated with religious teachings, must try to understand that when describing Jesus's life, the disciples related only what they personally remembered-which fully supported their account of Jesus's "supernatural" activities. The disciples also included much that had been spoken of Jesus by others, during the 30 odd years following Jesus's death. After such a lapse of time and inevitable embroidery of truth-how could the disciples possibly write an authoritative "biography" of Jesus and of what really happened-or properly explain Jesus's true spiritual perceptions, which gave birth to Jesus's words and "miracles?" Only one person can write from this standpoint-and that is Jesus himself. Therefore, the Christ Letters or A Course In Miracles will bring you Jesus's Truth in a way that no spectator could possibly tell it, no matter how well they thought they understood Jesus's thinking. If Jesus's Truth expressed in the Christ Letters or A Course In Miracles differs from much written in the New Testament, is it to be wondered at or rejected for that reason? Therefore, Jesus will be speaking to us through the medium of his original teachings-the Christ Letters or A Course In Miracles-to describe his life and his teachings over 2000 years ago. But most people-even Christians-do not have the capacity to listen to Jesus because of their fanatical and stubborn adherence to cherished beliefs.

It says "GOD sent His SON". if that isn't talking about God literally sending His Son... then what does it mean? Why couldnt God simply say "this is ME incarnated into a human body." But He said My Son. So what does Son mean of not talking about an actual son? And I'm not denying the Bible to be true. I've read about 3/4 of it... finished the NT in its entirety. I'm just confused on the Trinity because I thought when God said He sent His Son...thats what He meant. Did He not mean that? So many passages show they're separate. For instance Jesus even PRAYED to... addressed God. How can He pray to God if He IS God? A voice was heard from Heaven when Jesus was baptized saying "this is MY SON". I guess I just have to have faith and be ok with what I don't understand. If Jesus really IS God Himself in a human body and doesn't have His own separate soul like I thought... then of course I believe what is true, even if I don't understand...I believe.

Because Christ spoke of the "Father," the "Son" and the "Holy Spirit," the church decided at the Council of Nicene that Christ must have been referring to "3 Persons in One." Consequently, people pray to the "Father" to ask for benefits, implore the "Holy Spirit" to instruct them spiritually and pray to the "Son" to "save" them from their "sins." Can you see how the mind can be conditioned into accepting illogical nonsense which can endure almost 2000 years because it was backed by a great hierarchy of Popes, Cardinals living in palaces, immense wealth, and upheld in earthly pomp and ceremonious prestigious circumstances? Can you begin to "see" how "earthly and humanly conceived" are these beliefs? Can you also see how "emotionally based" they are? Because of the emotionalism and the promise of a "free trip to Heaven on the heels of the Savior," these beliefs have become a humanly conceived religious structure to enshrine an empire of Church within earthly empires-Rome, Austria, Spain. The beliefs have been the excuse for wholesale torture, and death by burning and execution of dissidents. These beliefs have inspired wars between nations. But the "spiritual perception" and "creativity" arising out of some of these beliefs have also contributed much to existence in the past 2 millennia. These beliefs have been the reasons for building of cathedrals, churches, monasteries, convents, giving people a stable purpose and the ability to express their artistic gifts, and provided work for the less talented. These beliefs have also directed millions of people's awareness towards the higher realms of beautiful thought and unconditional love. These beliefs have even been the impetus behind mysticism and enlightenment when spiritual souls have come to see the Reality previously hidden by these beliefs. While this has been happening, these beliefs have also created the conditions for the development of echelons of religious superiority and immeasurable grandeur and wealth. These are humanly conceived and created edifices of "sin-impulses" and are therefore, from a spiritual standpoint-entirely spurious.

I do not agree with this new age idea that faith alone saves. The Bible never says faith alone saves, it's says by Grave alone you are saved. I agree we are all dead to our sin and deserve hell, but by God's grace he chose to save us. However, belief in the Bible means obedience to God. It's not just saying you believe or going to church on Sunday. It's truly living your life for him in obedience as a servant so if you believe you must do works and if you don't do works you don't truly believe. This is exactly what Jesus is trying to get across in Matthew 7 21-22. You better do much more than just say you have faith or just go to Church on Sunday. For James said "Faith without works is dead." If you truly have faith, you will live in obedience and do the work demanded by God. For we must do the will of his Father in Heaven.

Jesus made this altogether very simple for us, but it is by no means easy. Matthew 22:37-40 KJV [37] Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. [38] This is the first and great commandment. [39] And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. [40] On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets. Now we need identify with what love is, and we begin to see that love is not in word or in tongue but in deed and in truth. The gospel is to love as we know that Romans 5:8 KJV [8] But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. This is how the church began, that unto death (even being crucified) they were willing to share this good news

Jesus died on the cross, shed his blood, through that blood sacrifice we are redeemed of sin. Jesus is the lamb, God requires a blood offering, Jesus was that. This blood sacrifice is the perfect atonement for God's wrath. Jesus bought us through his sacrifice. By his GRACE THROUGH OUR FAITH WE ARE SAVE. Come to God in prayer, admit you're a sinner, ask forgiveness,ask for him to save you. He will.

Hello, did they give any specifics? Jesus had a mother as well, Mary, as He came to earth as both equally man and equally God. in Exodus 12 the blood of a spotless lamb was used on the doorposts to cover the Israelites from the wrath of God , that when God saw the blood over these people he may pass over them . that perfect spotless lamb is Jesus Christ who has washed us and covered us with his perfect blood that we may be forgiven of our sin . it is blood because our life is in the blood , blood was understood to be a component of sacrifice . because life is in the blood , there is no sacrifice if blood isn’t being shed . also our blood type comes from the father , in the new testament it says “by one man’s sin all of humanity was made unclean , unrighteous , sinners” something to that affect . Jesus Christ has the perfect undefiled blood type from the Father . his DNA is of the Father . and his blood is perfect , it was the perfect blood of the spotless lamb ,the sinless lamb of God . i hope this wasn’t too confusing .

It’s not so much that God is saying obey me or burn in hell. Yes it’s one way to look at it, but it’s the incorrect way. God created man for everlasting life. There’s no plan B. If they don’t get it, everlasting life, there’s no plan B. And like a faulty pot on the potters wheel, the potter starts over again, firstly reducing the faulty pot to shapeless clay. And those who disqualify themselves from becoming eternal beings, like the faulty pot, need to be destroyed. There’s no plan B. But the clay has no life and no sin. Whereas man is sinful and must pay for their sins before being destroyed. The sin of ingratitude needs to be paid for, and to not be grateful to God for being created, requires some punishment.

Because this world became Satan’s world when Adam and Eve succumbed to his temptation, all of mankind came under the captivity of Satan. And Satan has no intention of letting them go free. But the offer of God, of offering Himself as a ransom that’s nailed to a cross, is an offer that Satan cannot refuse. This is because of the greatness of the offer. This is not any old offer, but it’s God offering Himself as the ransom. And the greatness of this offer is such that Satan cannot refuse it. And when you think about it this makes sense because yes it’s perfectly understandable, that the sacrifice of God in the form of Jesus Christ is so sufficient, that Satan cannot possibly refuse it.

Yes I like what you say. And also isn’t it interesting that God knew that if He went ahead with the plan to create man, its success would be dependent upon God, in the form of Jesus, needing to become a sacrifice. Therefore, though God had the choice to not create man and thereby spare Himself from being the suffering sacrifice, nevertheless as He goes ahead with the plan to create man, it speaks of the love God has for us. And His decision to be this necessary sacrifice , for without it we would be doomed, it thereby gives us some idea of the greatness of this love that He has for us💒
