How I Became a SKELETON in Sea of Thieves
Today's Episode is very special, my friends, for I have finally decided to grind out the Skeleton Curse. And I know what you're thinking: "Really? YOU of all people are about to give others tips on PvP?"
Of course there is only so much I know about the subject, which is why I got myself some help. In order to bestow upon you the best tips and tricks outside of a dedicated tutorial or guide, I decided to call upon my friend Miffoo to teach me how to PvP so that I can, in turn, teach you guys as well.
So not only are you going to see how to unlock the Skeleton Curse, including the Ritual of The Flame Cutscene, but you'll be getting a condensed version of everything important I learned to do better in hourglass PvP.. At least for the Solo and Duo Sloop variety.

Ive been a helmsman since launch and since i dont spend allot of time on the cannons i cant give my crew advice like this and i have to watch them try and have fun only to have that fun replaced with frustration over missed shots and loot loss and a general skill gap between us and hardcore players makes it hard to keep them interested. These videos are keeping the game alive for them simply by providing them with solid advice. They notice a junp in skill every time they play after one of these videos. So with all the love on the seas, we, the crew of the "Gilded Breedull, thank you Cap'n Cliff.

Ah yes the time when I was *attempting* to help VIP level her hourglass, just happened to have cliffs stream open. And what do i see for his opponent’s ship name? “Im noob”, the very ship I had happened to be on at the time. Congrats on skelly curse cliff! Truely though, her Summon the Megalodon Shanty does sound better when there isn’t delay on the singer’s voice.

As someone who also has the Skelly Curse now, I can confirm that sometimes leaving certain parts of your ship damaged can help. I won an Hourglass battle by doing something that probably left my opponent confused. Near the end of the battle, he damaged my anchor and eventually boarded my ship. Naturally, we fought for a few seconds. But unfortunately for him, I noticed our ships were going to pass by each other while we were fighting. I managed to knock him onto the deck below my wheel, then I started lowering my anchor and jumped onto his ship a couple seconds later. He didn’t even try to stop me from sailing his ship out of bounds, but he did set my ship on fire. Why did I lower my anchor? Well, just in case he was gonna try to do the same thing. When you and your opponent are trying to sail each other’s ships out of bounds, sometimes stalling them is a good idea.

Heya, as someone who's gotten to lvl 50, I'd advise you to get mermaid gems from treasuries to level up. Unless you're going for legendary hunter of the sea of thieves. In that case, god help you.

I too got my skeleton curse! Started casually grinding in May, got my first 10 streak on Juneteenth, and stayed on my grind since then to get the skele curse a week before flameheart’s return! Now I can be a skeleton aboard the burning blade.

About warthunder, since you talked about it, for any people who want to download it: -There are 3 dificulties, wich come with 3 levels of realism: arcade, realistic and simulator (dont try simulator, you stand no chance) -There are 3 types of battles: tanks (basically world of tanks, point and click), planes(my personal favourite, requires skill even on arcade mode, but remember the most advanced planes are piloted by the most advanced pilot, if you pick up a warhawk as a begginer you will get whooped) and ships (i didnt even know it existed, you might as well play world of ships) -the game offers over 3000 vehicles from the WWII era all the way to modern day Have fun!

I think it’s definitely preference but if you want this grind to go much faster id keep it mostly to brigantine PvP, sloop can get draining most sloop players are absolute sweats and the ship takes much longer to sink then a brig, and no need to mention gally PvP absolutely miserable 😭

9:38 while that is critical for solos, the same thing applies for All ships. You want to be good. You need to be constantly adapting to what's changing in battle. There is no one strategy that just always works

9:26 when i was playing Sot regulary and i discovered the upper deck its really not worth repearing couse the ammount of water is still to small to be dangerouse so shooting it isnt a good idea either couse its a easy target but you dont get any value from it.

I usually target it when I see my enemy frantically bucketing to try and get them to back splash but yeah, usually you'd rather target anything OTHER than the upper deck on the sloop
