Great video, as always. But man, i'm just always so jealous at how "empty" the climbing gyms are... My city (around 130k ppl) only has one lonely gym and no matter the time of day it's always packed with people. At what times do you usually go?

What are the actual grades like in this gym? For someone 10-months in to be climbing the hardest set routes (usually v10-v12 for indoor boulders) is pretty unheard of. Congrats to him though.
@JoshRundle
@JoshRundle Жыл бұрын
There are no actual grades, just the colour bands I put on the screen. The whites I would say at a guess are anywhere from V4-V6. They are not the hardes the hardest is yellow and black, with black being the hardest.

I'm sure this has been said somewhere in the comments, but I'd just like to point out for anybody watching this video who is not informed, that this is not normal climbing progression after 10 months haha. The calisthenics background must have a lot of crossover with climbing.

I notice Josh is more able to speak while climbing than Louis and has developed more good habits like switching feet more properly and safely and observing all the holds, and brushing all the holds before the climb. Stamina is a slight difference as well although I'm not sure how much rest you guys have in between cause he seems to breathe harder than Josh. This us just my observation though i could be wrong. BTW, this is an awesome video. I've been climbing for 3 months now and I've only started doing v5 regularly. Louis is insane!!
