I'm not a cliff climber but I've hiked that pass several times and admired Wall Face. The debris field under that cliff is amazing. Boulders the size of bused and houses all jumbled together with trees growing right over it and creating deep passageways and chambers. When you climb down to the debris field from the east side trail on Mount Marshal, the temperature drops a lot and quickly. In one of the those deep, very damp and cold chambers, we found blue ice showing evaporation pitting on a 90 degree August day! Indian Pass is deep between Marshal and Wall Face and runs north/ south so it gets very little direct sunlight anytime of the year. Blue ice is compressed ice and is associated with glacial accumulation so, it's incredible to think that ice survives throughout the year there. I can only imagine how old it actually is.

I think there's quite a bit of fear around climbing when it stays mysterious - invite them on an easy hiking trip with you! and when you're comfortable and experiences, take them climbing 😊 I got into climbing right after I moved out of home, and although it initially scared my mom (I've taken her climbing since and introduced her to my climbing partner), she would rather know I'm doing it than do it in secret

Have you tried using quickdraws with 30-45cm slings instead of the 12cm ones you're using in this video? It should significantly help with rope drag and isn't that expensive to buy since you don't need to buy new carabiners

Great video, as per usual! However I am wondering.... why is the 2nd follower "self-belaying?" with a progress capture? Or what kind of device are they using? You could just as easily put them on belay and treat them the same as the 1st follower. If you belayed with an ATC in guide mode you could belay both followers simultaneously, and they would stagger their starts. Unless I am missing something, which is why I'm asking the question! Cheers.

I'm not in this vid but here's some advice: Visit your local climbing gym. Get proficient there eventually climbing 5.10- 5.11 grades. Take all the classes there you can. Then ask an experienced climber take you outside for some top roping. Then take the Lead Class at your gym. Get proficient Lead climbing/belaying at the gym, Then start Sport Climbing outside with someone experienced. A Wilderness First Aid Course would be beneficial at this point. Learn how to build/clean Anchors. Learn to rapell, learn to self rescue etc. Then befriend a Trad Guru. Join the Climbing Occult know as TRAD. Sell your soul, pay for gas and convince a Trad climber to take you out for a climb as a "follower/cleaner". Sell all your possessions to climb full time. Make climbing friends, Climb high, get some exposure, Or you could just do something totally stupid and become a Boulderer.
