Climbing the Smasher - Coquihalla Highway with New Rear View Angle

Climbing the smasher on a fairly nice winter day, Approximately 36,000 Kg/80,000 LB Gross Weight.
Coquihalla Highway is one of the highways featured on Highway Thru Hell.

Conditions seem so veriable on the same run, thumbs up to you folks that drive these roads.

The conditions can be super varied throughout the run indeed. You can start your run in the morning on the coast and have it be a nice warm sunny day, then be in a full on winter storm with a foot of snow every hour on the Coquihalla, then sunny and nice again in Kamloops.

This specific clip was filmed with a Vantrue X1 dashcam which is no longer available, I have since upgraded to a Vantrue X4 (Full 4K resolution) amzn.to/2Y78VVr The rear facing portion is filmed with an action camera on a clamp on mount on the fender of the trailer. Yi Lite Action Camera - amzn.to/2Y698bj and Clamp on mount - amzn.to/2Fsid7L The mount I linked wasn't ideal and required the use of spacers to clamp on to the fender as it's intended for thicker material.
