So beautiful! We have been up Clingman's Dome before and loved the view. Hope Alison enjoys her visit to this beautiful area. The walk is not easy even though it is short. Great video friends!

My first visit to Clingman’s Dome was when I was 5 years old. I made it half way then my poor father had to carry me the rest of the way. He never let me forget that trip!

I'm in total agreement with you about the Smoky Mountains being beautiful in all weathers! I looked for the video you spoke of, photos of another of your trips to Clingmans from a few years ago. Can you put the link in the description box or give us the title of the video to look for please?

@@LALyman223 Hi Allison. The video link is now in the description. It was at the end of the video link and still is. That is the links that pop up at the very end of the video. Thank you for watching our videos and sharing your thoughts with us.

Great job on walking up to the dome! I did it back in the late 80’s and by the time I got to the top my legs were so wobbly I thought that I would need to be rescued by a helicopter!!😅
@stevekibler2 ай бұрын
@@bak606063 It was a workout getting up to the top. My legs were sore for sure. It was a longer 1/2 mile than I remember from the past. The last time we were up there it was 1992. I went up there many times back in the 60s and 70s. Thank for watching our video and sharing your experience with your hike.

Great video! Such a beautiful place 🧡 Do you have to pay to park there or get a special parking sticker?
@stevekibler2 ай бұрын
@@mrsb1994 All parking lots in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park have a fee of $5.00 if you are parked more than 15 minutes. We have a yearly parking pass since we live in the area. There are many places to buy a day pass for parking in the National Park. They have kiosks to purchase parking passes at most of the major parking lots. One pass is good for the day though out the park.
