Yeah I had an ex like this and he would spam my phone and talk dirty to me or show up everywhere I go and say I'm the problem when I confronted him for "stalkery" and blamed me for "being obsessed with him" when it's been two years since we broke up. The kid Rock thing reminded of my ex. We were at a pride parade and I said to my friends (straight couple) they could not kiss because it was forbidden. AS A JOKE. So the guy friend said "oh yeah, then let me kiss your boyfriend". The girlies and me chanted "kiss kiss kiss!" And then laughed. My ex didn't laugh. He was about to cry. I apologized and told him it was just a joke, that no one was making him kiss another guy. He told me (a bisexual woman) that I didn't know anything about pride and was trying to force him. I kept apologizing so he threw me the "I paid for all your drinks and this is how you repay me!" I cried. Then wiped my tears and kept dancing. He kept walking in front of me, just enough so that if any girl flirted with me, he would pull me away. At the end of the parade he was like "why did you cry so much, it's all your fault for mocking me". I told this story to my conservative Christian grandma and she said "That man was not for you, if he cannot take a gay joke on the day all gays celebrate" 😅

Narcissism is a spectrum so you can have people who doesn't qualify to be branded as having this disorder but still can be called narcissists because they have high level of narcissism (but aren't meeting DSM-V criteria).

(NPD) you never offend us lol. narcissistic personality disorder and narcissistic traits are very different, but they do overlap sometimes. people loosely using the phrase “they’re a narcissist” is technically incorrect unless they’re formally diagnosed, but we as a society tend to know what someone is talking about anyways. But a healthy way to avoid promoting negative stigma surrounding diagnosed narcissists is to say “narcissistic tendencies / traits” or “acting narcissistic” rather than referring to someone as * A * narcissist. so; narcissistic = a way to describe someone, A Narcissist = someone diagnosed with NPD. Watching this one of the things that came to mind is that nitpicking like he is doing is actually really effective in rape trials. Wrong dates, poorly estimated times, potential discrepancies in how something was discovered, these go a long way to discredit a victim in a court of law. Lawyers will create a narrative that supports those things being intentionally misleading and how they're meant to manipulate sympathies, and it's often plenty for a jury to feel their small doubts are reasonable.
