Agreed but I always have BICs. Never had one fail or run out with low/medium use. If you look at Black Owl Oudoors he buried a bic in the ground and checked on it every few months for about six or more months. Still worked ok. I wonder how these would last and hold out in comparison? I now own 9 clipper lighters based on your recommmendation. Time will tell if they last the distance 🖖

Hey I have a couple clipper lighters but I’m not sure how they refill. I have a can of Butane (non clipper brand) but when I put the nozzle on my clipper and push down I can’t hear any butane coming out. Is there a special nozzle or type of butane for these guys? Thanks

you have to depress the can properly , not all the way but like 75 percent

one of the better features of the clipper is that you can take out the flint if you store it in your bug-out kit so that fire can never accidentally start inside your bag or car trunk

Being a 2 action lighter it is legal to carry in your pocket on planes should not get taken off of you I think the limit is one per person and it has to be on your person :)

Any BIC is refilable.just poke it with a tac pin and refill it with a butane.you just gotta be quick.it lasts as long as the flint

You can refill it but its not refillable. ; -) A refillable lighter (like the Clipper) has a propper valve to refill it.
