Clitheroe Castle Parkrun POV Full Course

Cheers Craig. My first thought when i saw the title was ..... where the hell is Clitheroe? Wind sounded terrible. 😆😉 What a challenging but beautiful ParkRun. Looked a real toughie but think any ParkRun with 'Castle' in the name, is always going to be hilly. You got an awesome time so it’s all good. Sorry the leg issue is still there but hope you enjoyed your race. Guess it will have been testing weather conditions today.

Cheers Colin, yeah it was a tough one. If there were only 3 laps it wouldn't have been so bad but still really enjoyable unlike yesterday's 10k. The route of that was changed last year and while it wasn't great last year, the weather made yesterday's just awful. My shower still hasn't recovered lol

@@TheRunningWhale Sorry to hear your race wasn’t the best. I assume it was Keighley 10k you ran? Came within a whisker of booking this myself but train would not have got me there in time, so that decided it. Always a shame when weather spoil an event but hope you can pick out positives.

Thanks Dean. Today's race was a muddy wet bogfest so I may as well have pushed harder haha. I'll be doing a quick upload on it so hopefully you'll see what I mean. Good news, my critical power jumped up today quite a bit too 💪🏃

That looks like a tough course, and I felt for you as you climbed, like the metrics below but I couldn’t quite see them, I saw your HR hit 177, mind you mine hit 206 at Pennington Flash Parkrun yesterday and I struggled again, video in next few days. Your time was impressive, was that sub-26? Couldn’t see your watch face clearly😊

Thanks Andy, no the time was 26:46 but the gradient went up to around 18% I believe so I'm not beating myself up about it lol. I'll watch out for yours 👍

It's alright I'm Craig. The 10k race was Keighley 10k my home town which was this morning. A complete mudfest and in parts more of a swim so it wasn't the zippy run I wanted it to be. I'll be uploading a video about it in the coming days 👍
