Always excited for an MGR. Covered one of my favorite series. You were absolutely right about Clock Tower 2: The Struggle Within. The Zombie hospital level was the worst.

Another good video as usual. I only played the PS1 game when it released in the US and I enjoyed it. Back then I never knew of the original on the SFC/SNES. I also played Haunting Ground which i never knew was a part of the series.

before the days of Silent Hill and Resident Evil :) It got the idea from this game i think specially the beginning where her friends go missing which reminds me of the first Resident Evil where Albert Wesker goes missing lol.

My favorite version of this game is the on the PC. Despite not having any king of translation avaliable, using a mdern mouse to play makes everything way more enjoyable.

Scissorman looks absurd but I still think this game looks scary! The slow controls look like they would add tension. Might have to give it a go!

The game is not properly for the SUPERNINTENDO is for the SUPER FAMICOM. Therefore, The game only was released officially in japanese. The english version you are playing here it can only played with a REPRO cartridge, using the patched version released for emulators thanks to fan project translations.

Love all the details you mentioned, although I've know most of them. I really hope this game would get a reboot or remake for the current gen, for PS4, and reinvent the whole world and also the story. Bring back Scissorsman and Jennifer!

Great review, I recommend you take a look at a game called Call of Cthulhu Dark Corners of the Earth, although I'm not sure if it qualifies as retro! Or maybe Clive Barker's Undying.

Good stuff but you need to work on your audio, the constant breathing is a bit distracting and you need to enunciate words more carefully, as a non native English speaker it took me a while to understand that "sanny" was supposed to be sanity, for example. Keep it up, though!

It's not that they aren't as good it's that they are downright horrible. "Ghost Head" and "The Struggle Within" are the same game but they have different sub titles depending on where they were localized. That said they may be so bad that it's funny but the laughs aren't worth a 100 dollars or more. I've played it myself but if you wan't to see people give it a fair shake check out "Is it really that bad clock tower 2 the struggle within" by stopskellingtonsfromfighting.
