Clogged Septic Tank Toilet Bubbles and Backs Up

Thx for ur video! This is exactly what is going on with my toilet, it’s bubbling.. But there isn’t a white pvc pipe coming out of the ground anywhere, this house was built in late 50’s/early 60’s.. I need to wait a week before getting tank pumped out, I literally jus replaced water heater 5 days ago & my dryer jus went out... What can I do if there’s no pvc pipe?

What is the sump pump like hole in a downstairs bathroom? Not the sump pump of course but what would be an issue if that keeps overflowing when either taking a shower or running a washing machine?

put mine in in 1976, had it pumped in 1989, again in 2003 again in 2013, again yesterday,, at 325.00 everytime , I saved some money by not having it done every 3 yrs.

So what's the protocol on a new home with a never before used septic tank? Just start using the bathroom and everything falls into place? Then have it pumped during the 3rd year?

So the pumping that you talk about doesn't have anything to do with the clog. How does adding more water to a full tank hold you over until the guy can pump the tank out?

The blockage is near the water's entrance. The hose simply pushes it clear. It will give you a few days but it's a signal.

If you take a look at his diagram again, you may notice the top layer marked scum. It is also all the fats and floatables that get flushed over time. That layer can harden enough to plug the line if the water level gets high enough. I work in a waste water plant and have a couple tanks that have skimmers to cure this issue. But not underground.

We actually have ours done every other year and this winter its been gurgling and actually spitting water out. It even makes the noises in our bathtub. Not sure if we have a clogged drain or clogged septic.

What about in the winter let’s say for some reason it gets clogged could I blast it with warm water to loosen it up and then drain it out?

Dont forget to check your input baffle and output baffle. Also check distribution box. Main out gos to distribution box which feeds all drain field pipes evenly.

If anyone sees this a little info would be supper helpful. I live in a 2 story home. (My spelling isn’t the best btw).. The upstairs flushes fine and good. Downstairs doesn’t flush for nothing. I can’t hear any sounds, as mentioned.

I live in an apartment, so no garden hose. It is almost midnight so no plumber. My toilet has overflowed 3 times in the last 3 hours. I did all the home 'remedies, no luck. I am in a tsunami of crap. hopfully nothing made it to your leech field...if the tank was that full...taNgible material made it to the fingers....result..NOT GOOD.
