Have pcos and tried for over a year. First month on Letrozole. I've been taking inositol for 6 months prior and still taking it(doctor recommended to continue this). Nothing happened the first dosage so they increased the dosage. The ultra sound found 2 mature follicles. So hoping this journey is short and sweet. I am 8dpt and I'm assuming 7dpo based of symptoms and ovulation test. Had some light spotting. 🤞🤞🤞

Thanks for the information. I took lethrozole for my 4 pregnancies. Among them I had 2 miscarriages. Lethrozole works best

So my fertility doctor is leaning toward unexplained infertility because my husband and I got Pregnant last year but that pregnancy ended in a miscarriage and have been trying for about 10 months since. So my doctor said we know sperm has met egg and a pregnancy developed, we know you can get pregnant, we just don’t know what’s prolonging it. Cut to 2 months later I finally started my letrozole dose and am praying that I just haven’t been ovulating monthly so now with the medication it’ll guarantee ovulation? Idk 🤷🏻‍♀️ I’m at the poiint now where this is my last hope before starting IUI OR IVF. I asked the doctor to be more conservative and start the letrozole and try conceiving naturally before jumping into IUI and she agreed

Hi Anu, I’m diagnosed PCOS and I’m currently on my second round of letrozole , my first round i ovulated on day 20 so i was wondering is there any chance that i would ovulate earlier or later than day 20 or would letrozole help to regulate my ovulation (every day20) throughout my menstrual cycle? If a woman undergoes superovulation, say for example, ovulates 2 eggs in a cycle, has 1 EGG fertilized while the other EGG unfertilized. What happens to the unfertilized egg in this case ? I did one round of clomid at 50 mg had side effects . So my next cycle my Dr. put me on letrozole 5mg because I have PCOS cd 3-7. Should do you think I on 7.5 mg for cd 3-7 Dr. said she will but me on 5mg for cd 3-9 . Do people on 5mg for 7 days ?

What is your opinion on using provera to start a period prior to starting Letrozole vs waiting for a period to come on its own? I have PCOS and irregular cycles ranging 35-70 days. Is it better to wait it out or use provera?
