I confirm: your hacks work for menopause!! I discovered you just a month ago and thought: hey, let's have a try, it's so easy and fun! And just in a week or so I was not anymore waking up "in a sauna" 10 times a night! Just starting with salad/greens, even for breakfast, keeping my sweet teeth for the end of the meal and dancing 10 min after that, out of joy for feeling sooo much better! You are my star! 🙏🤩😍💖

I dont take any supplement (exept magnesium and Vitamine D) and as already said, I just started to follow the hacks that you can find in the description of the video. I explore to try to find solutions to this "life tsunami" I had never imagine. But I take this challenge as a chance to get closer to my body and to myself... a sort of mindfulness journey. As each woman has to deal with different challenges, there is no map that fit all the worlds, we have to find our own way. I wish you all the best for your own journey. ❤

Hi beautiful intelligent Queen-Angel you! Thank you for thinking about us who need this info. 3 weeks ago I started eating in the right order: savory breakfast, my vinegar w/the mother, more movement and my Hormone therapy was re-established after getting my basic education on how to keep healthy and happy. No longer do I eat a big bowl of oats with skimmed milk for breakfast as my doctor had strongly suggested to lower my cholesterol. within 3 weeks I noticed a substantial difference on how my body feels. I have struggled with PCOS for about 7 years now. I started your protocol 2 weeks ago. I do 1 tsb of acv early in the day and before bed. I don't always do the food order as recommended. If you have pcos I honestly think this might be a cure. I have never looked or felt better and my symptoms are almost completely gone. It is quite literally changing my quality of life before my eyes. I also have an extreme case of keratosis pilaris on my arms and buttocks that is clearing. I made an extensive list of the changes I experienced. If anyone has any questions let me know. Highly recommend. Thank you for changing my life.

I was listening to this while in the shower, looked down and was SHOCKED to discover that I had only lost a few strands of hair!!! After years of losing a clump of hair dialy, I am flabbergasted to lose so little. I have only been following the hacks for 2.5 weeks and have already lost 8 pounds, stopped my back pain, stopped this pervasive pain behind my eyes that I have suffered with for years, and stopped daytime crashes (which was the reason I started to follow the advice in the first place). #GlucoseGoddess, your method should be taught in schools. It should be a pamphlet in every doctors office. It should be a part of advice given by nutritionists. It should be part of best practices for every camp, cafeteria or program providing food for kids. I have realized, at nearly age 50, that I have been on a roller coaster of glucose spikes for my entire life and that it has impacted my physical and reproductive health in so many ways. I also realize that my daughter is following the same pattern. Please keep teaching. And please keep pushing to get your easy tips into more hands! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I actually read in a few places that in some cases, PCOS is something that in fact you can be born with... I am not the only one in my family either, my mom, aunt and some of my cousins also have PCOS, and type 1 diabetes also runs in the family.... So I do believe that, in our case at least, there's something in our genes that messes up with our ability to process sugar 🤷‍♀️

Got prescribed the pill, took it for a year and I felt like it was such a wrong thing to do so I started reading about PCOS and the way it works and stopped the pill, started supplementing magnesum and folic acid and followed the Montignac Regime (which is basically based on the same principles as these hacks) and i did lose weight, improved by moods, started getting my period REGULARLY, every month, ovulating, felt better and stronger than ever. @Hertz2laugh
@Hertz2laugh 6 ай бұрын
@@joanneclark8256 There are no "carb receptors". Maybe they meant insulin receptors. In any case, there are no studies that show any negative long-term effects of eating a meat-heavy or meat-only diet. Some studies have shown a loose *_association __*_ with heart disease, but association doesn't mean causation - police have a strong association with crime but that doesn't mean police _*__cause_* crime. Microbiome won't be negatively effected. All that will happen is that the microbes that live off of fiber will go into hibernation until fiber is reintroduced. Your nutrition and microbiome will be just fine. You might need to take it slow if you want to reintroduce fiber. Give a little time to let the microbiome readjust. Not a big deal. I did 90 days of meat/eggs only. Since then I have done almost 2.5 years of meat, eggs, seafoods, low-carb veggies, butter, a *_little bit_* of other dairy, salt, and water. I limit myself to 20g carbs per day at absolute maximum. Completely reversed my insulin resistance and prediabetes. lost 60lbs of excess fat too.

I wasn’t even sure if what I brought was going to be enough but I’m so full. This is amazing! lol.. can’t wait to see what happens in a few months

I’ve only just found out that menopause (oestrogen deficiency in particular) can mess up glucose regulation, even without diabetes - why don’t our doctors warn us about that? This can have detrimental effects on our health long term and eventually lead to diabetes and all other associated risks (CVD, dementia, etc) if we’re not careful!

@kov40
@kov40 7 ай бұрын
Endometriosis is also linked to inflammation (or causing it), so I guess these tips for a truly healthy lifestyle go a long way with Endometriosis, too. I was never diagnosed with endometriosis, but always had severe menstrual pain, and adopting a "glucose aware" eating habit helped massively with PMS symptoms and pain. The pain comes from the same type of body cells that endometriosis is made of, so glucose/insulin on one hand and inflammation (prostaglandines) on the other hand definitely are at work there, too. Additionally to eating with glucose in mind (at least during the luteal phase/two weeks before menstruation), taking omega-3 fatty acids as a supplement helped me to keep inflammation in check.

There are many women with T2 diabetes without PCOS though. So insulin resistance leads to PCOS only in some women. There is a reason though why some people react to the same diet differently. I have had PCOS/IR since I was 12 years old and there must be a genetic factor why the same diet triggers insulin resistance in some and not in others.

I'm a doctor with PCOS and yeah PCOS is something people are born with, it's entirely genetic , it is a quite complicated unpredicatble syndrome and it's not mainly insulin resistance but estrogen dominance plays a major role too , the hypothalamic-pituitary-gonadal axis is messed up.

Please discuss oxalate and lectin containing foods and how it effects gut health and absorption. Inflammation from high histamine foods (even healthy foods) can also spike blood sugar, especially if you have a histamine sensitivity.

No, I eat chicken, turkey, pork, eggs (I try to avoid red meats.) low histamine veggies- asparagus, arugula, watercress, lettuce, onions, broccoli, brussel sprouts, cauliflower, jicama . Bread, rice, pasta, corn- all elevate me. The issue with histamine intolerance- sometimes, certain foods will elevate my blood sugar and sometimes it won't. Many contributing factors- stress, how much histamine is already in the system, etc. The usual big offenders are: avocado, chocolate, coffee, wine, beer. Many "healthy" foods containing lectins and oxalates are high histamine. Think nightshades- potatoes, tomatoes, mushrooms, sweet bell peppers, hot peppers. Oxalates- spinach, sweet potatoes and almonds. So, all of the foods I love Do I ever eat them? Yes, but in small quauntities- once in awhile.! But, there are many left that don't trigger reactions. I substitute arugula for spinach. I sub coconut milk for cow's milk. I drink low histamine mold free coffee. It would be easier if it was a true food allergy. I would simply avoid it. This is definitely trickier. It's all trial and error. Reactions can include rash, itching, hives swelling, headaches, sleeplessness, GI issues- gas, bloating- all the way up to vomiting, diahhrea and the worst, anphalaxis. Believe it or not, Nsaids- Advil, Aleve, aspirin, even prescribed Nsaids. Yes, these are the drugs that are supposed to take inflammation down- all can make you swell- if you're sensitive to them. Chemicals inside the home as well as outside: household cleaners, perfumes, food colorings, hair dyes, air pollution from factories, cars- it all matters. A good website to check out regarding histamine intolerance (including food lists) MastCell360. Loads of great information about food here.

I m 48, very sporty since I m 12. My body was terribly affected by my training and diet, so I had my period maybe every 3 months and it was really fake. Got pregnant at 38 very surprisingly. Never had my period back since. At 46 I have started to feel all the menopause symptoms: the sweaty nights were at nightmare and I Just needed sweets at night which was definitely not myself. I needed sweets drinks too, which I never liked...That phase was worse than anything I could ever imagine....waking up 3 times at night totally socked wet.... changing bed shit, pajama etc. Now, everything seems to be getting better but i m certainly not like before....I need more sleep and less action. I have switched the usual bread with the gluten free one and eaten more of white fish and obviously chicken. I m taking creatine every morning with my water as soon as I wake up. I feel that the changes in my body have extremely affected me but not my lifestyle. I m a single mum with lots of positive beliefs for my/our future. Thank you enormously for your channel X
