This season I’ve been investing in a few key items - think tailoring and classic shoes - plus a few mad statement pieces that I simply couldn’t resist. Have any sartorial gems caught your eye lately? My advice is to think about how many different ways you can wear a piece before you buy, perhaps trying it on at home to see how it works with your existing wardrobe. The pink cocoon jacket is a Sophie D’Hoor from Poepke in Paddington (Sydney). It is beautiful, but not great if one is 5ft 😢😢😢. It hurts to cut off 1/3 of the length

Since Trinny was worrying about looking like a little girl or too frumpy, they're actually giving her useful tips on how to pull it off in a modern way. But I completely understand how, to folk who were taught their whole lives to dress 'Flatteringly', that it may take some time for their eye to adjust. TL;DR: Jemima & Molly (& Lila) keep Trinny young!

@andie9762 Trinny said she categorised this fluoro, hot pink cocoon coat as an eccentric or fantasy item. She mentioned Yellow Flouro, so I think that's where she's heading with her styling. To really use this coat as a Wow or Feature Piece.

That velvet suit ❤ The Prada and Zara bags were surprisingly similar. Unusual to see Trinny in a big label with the scarf. As always very inspiring.
