Hello All! In this organization video I show you that organizing a kitchen cabinet can be quick and easy! We tackle organizing the spices in just 15 minutes! If you have a kitchen cabinet (or a bathroom cabinet) that needs to be organized or decluttered, grab a timer, hit play on this video, and let’s do it together!
This is part 3 of 3 in a series of “quick organization” videos where our ONLY goal is to make the space better than it currently is!
It’s all about doing your best while doing a little bit at a time. And if you don’t get it all done, that’s okay. It took more than 15 minutes to get messy anyway! 🙂
Here’s what to do moving forward: Set a timer for 15 minutes tomorrow and repeat the process. Slow and steady eventually reaches the finish line when you don’t give up!

In two my cabinets I used your lazy Susan cake pan and marble technique I seen almost two years ago. I organized them like cloves, cardamom, cinnamon. Another one mustard powder, turmeric etc. I love it.

Guys do yourselves a favor and buy a set of spice jars from amazon or Walmart type of place. You can get 12 for about $12 and then all your spices are in uniform bottles. Most come with labels as well. It makes your space look neat you know what’s on hand and it’s pleasing to see when you’re cooking. Just my two cents. Thx for the inspo Alejandra!

I am using the 15 minutes to clean out my 13' long closet that holds more than just clothes. I know it will take me less than 15 minutes because it's already organized. Happy for your videos because it keeps me motivated.

I HAVE to see the fronts of each individual jar with one quick glance (OCD much?), so I found 2 thrift shop-old-time wooden spice racks to paint and hang on the outside wall of my pantry, one above the other at eye level, giving me 5 lipped shelves. I alphabetize, because it's the easiest way I've found to quickly retrieve the one I'm looking for. It's good to have you back, Alejandra.

I organise my spices and dried herbs by a hybrid of "most used" and types of cuisine. I have individual bins for "most used" , Asian, Mexican, Spanish, Italian and French classic, plus one for baking and sweets. Spices that are used in multiple cuisines end up in the most used bin. So I pull out the "most used" bin, then the one suited to what I'm making, and I'm good to go!

Love your videos. I use 2 lazy Susan organizers for my spices. One is a 2 tiered old one I bought at "Lecters which does not exist any more. The other is a great one by OXO. It glides so smoothly and they make 2 sizes.

In SA we have Robertsons spices, the bottles are colour coded according to spices, herbs, specialty rubs etc, so I group all the colours together in my spice drawer. I have one like yours!
