That’s kinda upsetting that he said she constantly brought up marriage and they might would still be together if she hadn’t, yet could commit to a different woman after 6 months. I was in a very similar situation almost a year ago. I was with my ex fiancé for nine years and we were engaged for two years. He pretty much broke up with me during Valentines day weekend, but he wasn’t willing to commit, and I gave him an ultimatum. Honestly didn’t think that he would break up which deep down I knew that he wanted to break up but he was too much of a coward to do so he had just been acting distant and we weren’t being as intimate as we used to be something was off with him for like about a year, but I try to ignore the red flags hoping that I would pass. Basically he just was not in love with me anymore the love that he had faded away and he didn’t know what to do and he didn’t wanna break up because he that would make him the bad guy in the relationship. Honestly, I’m kind of happy that we broke up, but it still pisses me off that I wasted nine years on a guy that was never going to commit to me and met and make me his wife I was not going to be a priority to him. I was never going to be number one. To be honest I’m in a very happy place where I am now.
