@@biotribe123 Indeed, I 100% percent understand what you mean, which is why I know it is not a tribal thing. If you'd like to read, please allow me to show you. It really has nothing to do with the tribal mentality. I think you wanted to say that it evokes a *primordial* feeling from deep within, and reaches out to the human instinct as it pumps up the adrenalin since the audience is overwhelming. When you say tribal it automatically means racial, and/or indigenous, and/or nomadic which I'm unsure how can be applied towards the Ultras. A chant that Ultras use is a form of organic and living folk tradition, akin to the modern version of folk storytelling. This idea is mixed with simple concepts, often for the sake of intimidation or ridicule. Chant, from French Chanter, is actually originally the the form of church singing which is closely connected to the monk's practices. Again, it is primordial rather than tribal even in that scenario. The tribal form would be using the percussion type instruments, which later evolves into a clan. Tribes are often secluded and want little to have with the outside world, which isn't really how any of the Ultras act. They are a group, rather than a tribe. They are there just for the sake of the game, and they do not really live together.
