Great example of the experienced v fresher interview. My takeaway was both candidates new and clearly explained storage in the interview. Object, block, and file storage articulated well with intended use examples. Thank you Mike and the team at GO Cloud Architects.

Great interview session, the best I have seen in the market. The difference between the experienced and fresh architects is their experience apart from that the technical questions were pretty much the same thing. shows the level of competency one needs to successfully land a cloud architect role. Your video is right on time again. Tbh, I couldn't find anything significantly different of your demo between the "experienced" and "fresher" candidate. It's like they're exact mirror copies. Was that intentional? 1 way may be too long but not necessarily?

We considered discussing sharing. But we chose not to mention shafting after speaking with numerous database architects who suggested against it.

"fresher" architect? Dont they need some minimum experience to call themselves one ?

Tech - we have many freshets getting hired as cloud architects. It’s about competency, communication skills, executive presence, emotional intelligence and business acumen. It’s not easy but our students get hired with no experience constantly. Competency matters far more then experience. But someone has no experience, they have to be excellent.

@@GoCloudArchitects Thats quite sad. Looks like all those "architect" certifications help them bypass the hard route. We never hire anybody with less than 10 years exp in developer/tech lead roles as architects.
