Under the geneva conventions enviromental modification for a military or other hostile purpose is illegal and considered a war crime. Considering the size the food gets to and the damage they cause it is easy to consider the modification performed as "Hostile". Another factor is that if the effect is long-lasting and widespread. From the fact it covers an entire island and in the second movie the food is fully sentient without having rotted it could be considered long-lasting and widespread.
@wingitfang72812 жыл бұрын
I think "hostile" refers to intent rather than outcome, so Flint Lockwood might still be in the clear. At least until the sequel.
@puddin14932 жыл бұрын
@@wingitfang7281 True. I feel carelessness could fall in place for "hostile" intent. Because he did go to a power station (That he most likely had no authorisation to enter) and used that to power his machine and that in turn is what caused the weather changing. So Flint was careless in his actions, I don't know if it would still count. But it's fun to think about!

While it may seem that all have a similar climax, each of the four movies mentioned have their own special way of conclusion. In this movie, Flint uses an invention that he believed to be a failure to stop the machine. He used the things that made him unique, the things that he was mocked for in order to save them all. In the Lego movie, unlike the other movies, Emmet doesn’t use violence, destruction or even do what was expected of him to defeat the villain. Instead, he opens up, appealing to Lord Business’s humanity and and changes his mind though kindness and understanding. (one of the many reasons why the lego movie is my absolute favourite movie) As for Spiderverse, Miles learns what makes him unique as spider-man, and he uses those to his advantage. (This is the only movie out of the four where the USB actually works as well, by the way) Even after getting beaten down numerous times, he gets back up and defeats Kingpin though something that his late Uncle taught him. The shoulder touch. In Mitchells, It’s Katie’s bond with her family and especially her father that saves the day. All the members of her family contribute in destroying PAL. (including the dog AND the car) The best moment having to be when Katie shouts out “I’M A MITCHELL!” When she chucks the villain. All three movie feel like they have the same climax when you boil it down to the basics, but they ALL have a distinct tone and feel that separates each of them from each other.

For clarification, if there are no crosswalk lines, you are supposed to just cross at corners or other "suitable crossing points". Edit: also, I think the spray-on shoes _do_ wear off. iirc, He puts a fresh coat on every morning to preserve it.

Jude brings up a good point that it’s not the amount of food but how specific the food is that causes the machine to malfunction witch makes a lot more the sense when you think about it

The dam is inverted, meaning it is less structurally sound. Like, if you look at other dams, like the hoover dam, they are built with the curve towards the water and not outwards

Best line in that movie: “Well, people thought these guys were weirdos too, but that didn't stop them” because it's so true. People love to bully others just because they're smart. But when the bullied become success stories...the bullies won't be the ones laughing now
@montymole2 Жыл бұрын
fun fact: bullies only bully because they are jealous of a smart person's success, or they have issues with feeling weak so they will pick on people smaller than them so they can feel powerful
