I have a story with this movie that I'll never forget. This came out when I was in eighth grade, and I soon learned that it was a _big deal_ due to the presence of one Nick Jonas. The girls in my class spoke his name in awed tones. And one night, I was invited to a party at a classmate's house, along with about half the girls in my grade in tow. I'll never forget the scene where the Jonas brothers are introduce at the side of the pool. When the camera focused on Nick, I could see his lips move, but I couldn't hear what words came from them, as I was suddenly surrounded by the screams of all those girls. The rest of the movie was...there. It was all very innocent, and that night we were young and innocent, free from the cares of the world.

I remember watching this movie on Senior Prom night of 2015, depressed from being rejected after asking a girl out. I walked over to my friends house who happened to already be drinking and if not more depressed than I already was. After feeling sorry for ourselves we decided to watch a movie we knew we wouldn't enjoy, Camp Rock. I apparently was already drunk upon entering his room but I do not remember how I got the alcohol in the first place. But my friend he had a bottle of 100 proof Captain Morgan dark rum. And all we had for a chaser was.... Mountain Dew. We decided to just mix it together. It was a terrible idea, that was a nasty cocktail and it didn't make Camp Rock anymore enjoyable. I do vaguely remember drunkenly yelling at the T.V during the beach concert scene, being irritated at the laziness of the production of this TV movie pointing out the fake backdrop that was the lake and surrounding areas. I don't remember if I had school the following day or if we did anything else that night It was an odd way of celebrating Prom. And it was a fun one too (in a rather masochist way).
