Club Sandwich

3-4 slices your favorite bread, toasted
1 ½ tablespoons mayonnaise
2 slices ham
2 slices smoked turkey
1 slice cheddar cheese
2 slices bacon
2 slices tomato
2 lettuce leaves
Salt/pepper
Toast your favorite bread. (We prefer Rye). Spread a light layer of mayonnaise on the first slice of bread. Place the slices of ham and then add the cheese. Spread a light layer of mayonnaise on the next slice of bread; add the lettuce and tomato. Sprinkle it with salt/pepper to taste. Spread a light layer of mayonnaise on the third slice of bread; add the turkey and bacon. On the final slice of bread, spread a light layer of mayonnaise and top the sandwich. Cut the sandwich into fourths.
This club sandwich is great to share for the perfect lunch. As a teenager, I enjoyed making sandwiches, adding a garnish of pickles and side of chips. A club is the perfect summer time meal. I hope you would consider making it for your family.
