Clutch switch,cruise control,tempomat problem Opel/ Vauxhall ,Saab....

if you pull the red part forward the clips will slide in to the mount easier (allows them to move in) then push the red part back down once into place

Also to remove the light switch easily you push the knob in and turn right (turning them on) and it pushes the tabs in and locks them in place allowing you to pull them out. Then to reinstall just put them in enough, turn left (turn them off) and then push in until you hear it lock in place again

Thanks a lot! My cruise control works again. The worst part of the job is definitely access to this switch. Also. The cable connected into it is very short so I needed to dive in entirely under the steering wheel to get this sorted. However. It took me around half an hour to get the old one out, but just a minute to put the new one back. What I found is when you pull the red plastic up, then the side teeth are unlocked and you do not need to push so much to fit this little thing to the frame. It is just come in very easy, and you can hear the click while its fitted. Thanks again

Great tutorial! The cruise control on a 2006 Zafira doesn't work, there are no codes and the fuse is fine. Hopefully changing this switch will fix the problem. Thanks

Hi no you don't have to touch the battery and error message never appeared on dashboard . I plugged computer to check the errors ,afeter replacement it's working again if you do that by your self make sure the ignition is switched off thanks

well it depend what make cruise control faulty could be sensor,or switch stalk handle control and other things best way is to plug in diagnostic computer

Great Tutorial! I want to install cruise control stalk, because now I don't have. I don't have clutch switch, but do I need it, I mean can I install and activate cruise control without that switch? I guess this is if I want to change gears, but if I drive on the highway I don't need clutch switch. Am I right ?

You have to have one or some one remove before you look for the loos wire under your steering wheel

Hi. I have a corsa d 2011 1.3 diesel. It both has start stop and cruise control. Start stop works but cruise control doesn't.. Is it the same switch.?

Hi I've never dealt with the corsa but you need to check when you press the clutch is it touch the connecting switch....if it is the switch could be faulty but a computer diagnosis would tell you

Sir, is it mandatory to remove lower part of the dash board to remove clutch switch. I can hear click-click in my Astra H when pressing clutch pedal. This annoying sound comes from inside the cabin. My car has good acceleration, power and have no issue with changing gear.

Hi yes in vectra I have full plastic cover, under steering wheel ,it helps you to have easiest access to the switch .make sure is that what make noise cause could be a clutch pedal spring all the best

Is it possible that car and spanner signal is appearing on dashboard because of the clutch switch fault ?

If the fault light illuminates whilst the engine is running, this signifies a fault within the engine or gearbox electronics system. The system will switch to emergency mode where fuel consumption may increase and the vehicles drivability reduced. If the light flashes whilst the engine is running, this signifies a fault within the electronic immobiliser system and the engine will not be able to be restarted. That is full explanation from vauxhall I hope it helps

Why is that? I want to change it on a Corsa D 2010, but I could not get it out. Had the red piece forward (which should loose the clips) but it did not move at all. Is there some tricky thing that I might not know?
