Hey guys I want to clarify something that got lost in translation on my part. The bolt tuning kit wasn’t included with the gun when I got it, and the gun ships with 1 magazine. Sometimes it’s easy to throw a bunch of crap in the truck and go to the range and miss little details. A few of you who have bought these already brought this to my attention to clarify so I wanted to pass it along. Thanks!

140 dBA impulse noise is for one occurance. Not hearing safe. For continuous noise, 0.5 seconds at 140 dBA in one day is the OSHA threshold for hearing loss. OSHA has a 5 dB doubling rate: 8 hours at 90 dBA, 4 hours at 95, 2 hours at 100, etc. Always use hearing protection above 85 dBA. Nice gun.
@Iraqveteran88886 жыл бұрын
By those calculations, you would need to be exposed to the full sound impulse for 0:28 at 140dB to cause any damage. The majority of the ammo were were using was down in the low 130dBs where you'd need to be exposed for a time of 0:56-1:53 to cause damage. Even by adding all the total time of all impulses from this video would likely not reach these time limitations being that the SPLs are measured in microseconds after all. Chad

My PSA AR9 lower was purchased for 199.99, I tossed the CAR stock and installed a KAK tube and Shockwave Blade combo for 59.00 , Purchased a complete PSA upper on sale for 359.00 this past labor day. Total cost $630 and it shoots everything I feed it. I like the rotating bolt head but its not worth a %100 percent price increase.

@timewave020126 жыл бұрын
If every gun >=$1300 warrants a Geissele, they need to start making triggers for a lot more firearms, including and especially your eponym. Imagine a semi-auto M2 with the equivalent of an S3G-4lbs on the spade grip paddle, boom, short reset, then 4lbs again, boom... Almost as good as full auto, for a lot less money.

So I've got 2 video ideas I'd love to see. 1. Smaller/Concealable/Portable firearms for those 18-20 who can buy and own long guns but cannot get a CCW lisence or buy handguns. For example I use the Kel-Tec sub 2000 and am considering the Shockwave. 2. A lowest common denominator guns video. Guns you can carry in a vehicle in every state or almost every state. I travel alot including California and it would be cool to see weapons like lever actions and such that are recommend for putting in the truck for a road trip or for OTR truckers ect. Thanks guys love the content and keep up the great work

@tackytrooper6 жыл бұрын
I've said this before, on multiple channels...if you stagger ammo types in the mags when using steel case, with a ratio of one aluminum/zinc round to 3 steel case, you will realize reliable feeding. All steel case rounds have this issue with glock mags, especially aftermarket glock mags.

I have Guard 45. I had to send it back to the factory 2 times and then they had to send me a bolt tuning kit before I could get the gun to feed reliably. It runs fine now, but if I had it to do it again I wouldn't buy it. That said, it is now a fun gun to shoot and is very accurate. It is VERY picky in terms of ammo, so be ready for that too.

So for $1300: - You have to tune it with with parts that aren't included ($25) in order for it to function. - Seems to be finicky with ammo. - No sights - Mil spec trigger - Wierd thread pitch that you will need to buy an adapter for. - It's $1300 - Only comes with 1 mag - MLOK +$25 For $1300 you could get: CZ Scorpion Evo pistol Brace it (Shock wave setup) 5 spare 30 round mags Uplula mag loader 500 rounds 9mm Pretty good soft case This will differ depending on where you get the gun and what you actually decide to get but I think I've made my point. Seems to be an overpriced and finnicky boutique gun that very few will buy. If this scratches the ar itch and you don't mind getting very little value for $1300 then I say rock on. However call me crazy but something tells me this thing will end up being a commercial failure. For good reason.

That's an odd difference between Georgia state gun laws and gun laws in Canada - in Canada, with our standard RPAL license, we can buy any short-barreled rifle. And with a general PAL license we can buy any short-barrelled shotgun (although only if sold like that - we cannot cut a barrel).
