Hi Craig. I ordered a refurbished one a few weeks back. The only problem was that I wanted one with 4 ports and they sent me one with 2. No problem went back to the Apple Store and 5 days later got my money back. Going to order another one and this time I will get an Apple person online to let me know that this one has definitely 4 ports. Great video Craig.

They are nice. I only have the 2 ports but with the hub I have at the base it works great. Good luck with everything.

This info was so helpful since I've never purchased a refurb Apple item. Looking into it now since my old iMac died. Also......7:45 Marques Brownlee!

well, and m1 doesn't need any maintenance really. Nothing they could screw up.

All computers can have issues so you never know.

Im buying the exact same model, it Canada they are $1299.00 but still a great deal. I have also heard apple puts all refurbished units in new cases. I got my wife a refurbished macbook air a few years back saved around $250.00 and looked and felt 100% brand new....

Hi Craig, great video man. I bought an imac 2020 27 inch with the i7 Intel chip on the refurbishment store yesterday for €1550 it was down from€ 2650, so like saved €1100. I think that was a good deal😊😊. In Ireland their still €2650 to buy new. Happy days. Keep up the great videos man.

Thanks for the feedback and nice words. Yes, not bad as I understand the pricing is so much different across the pond. The 2020's are still fast and that 5K screen is beautiful for sure. Here you might be able to find the 2020s for about $1,100 give or take but still even at $1,550 etc. they are great machines as they have basically the studio display.

Thanks for the feedback. Went with Blue more based on what they had. When I tried to order if they had Gray I might have had that but I actually like the blue in person.

Either FCP or iMovie in a pinch.

Yes, it's a nice machine. I figured all I need since it's going to be the machine I look at during my videos and not used for video editing although it can do that fine as well. Screens are really nice for sure.
