Amry I loved your little "rant" I think you shared it perfectly. I think most people just wanted you and Alan to get a lot of $$ because we all think you did such a great job training Kix. But I do think this little experiment really got your excellent training skills out there 😊 which is a great thing. I personally think your the best trainer around. I'm so happy for you and Cisco buying your own land!! That is just the best news ever, CONGRATULATIONS!! SO very proud of you both!! Cant wait to watch you guys grow and grow and grow!! Happy Thanksgiving. Love and Blessings always ❤ 🙌 Jennifer

So much fun watching you all change riding disciplines. Butters is obviously a well trained horse. And Charlotte..well she is proof positive that those little reservation/mustang type horses are capable of doing just about anything given the opportunity. Alan is certainly shining the light on this type of horse and what wonderful mounts they make given the opportunity.

The stirrups are placed so much higher---Oh! Now I understand why English riders often use a mounting block---I wondered why they don't get on from the ground like we do in the West. That was great to watch, thank you, your family and Maureen for sharing the fun with us!

That was my lesson of the day as well! Shorter stirrups compared to western riding!

Thoroughly enjoyed watching you 2 girls trying out new things, both finding hidden talents you didn’t know you had. Marine is blossoming staying with the Palmer family, she has been so blessed to have been placed with them. And the Palmer family were also blessed to have Marine as an exchange student, like a marriage made in heaven. 😊

I love how you are willing to try different diciplines. It wouldn't hurt to give all the horses you train a little english saddle riding to round them out. Thinking on it, you probably have a horse in your herd that you can have some fun jumping on...just for fun! Bet you are feeling some tightness in some muscles that normally don't get worked that way. Good job, both of you.

Good stuff Amry! It's definitely a different style than western. When I was stationed in Germany, the only time I got to ride was at a training stable and they only had English style saddles. What a learning curve... I hurt in places I never knew could hurt! Can't wait to see what's next.

That’s awesome!! You really have to pay attention to your balance and muscles in the English saddles… nothing like a western saddle. I enjoyed it!

Amry....I am so disappointed to see what Kix is selling for unless something dramatic in bidding happens in the next hour and a half...wish I were not 76 years old or would be buying him for sure....I guess this answers the question of training adding value to a weanling...and I don't understand as you have Mix with a better foundation that most do called finished horses...sorry this experiment didn't work out...feel if we're an in person auction where they could actually see him and you in person would make a huge difference
