Cheesecake Factory is an "anchor tenant" that has the power to convince commercial landlords to cancel or defer their rent. These commercial landlords HAVE to oblige because Cheesecake Factory attracts thousands of people to their malls and shopping centers. They treated their employees like trash during the pandemic. Employees have the option to pay into an "emergency funds account" The company refused to release the funds during the pandemic. The lying to the shareholders says it all. Not surprised they declined to be interviewed.

Pre-pandemic, I used to work as a Busser at The Cheesecake Factory. I used to make anywhere from $21-$27 an hour (including tips). It was an amazing job to have while in school. I hope to see the Chain recover. I would love to go back while I finish Nursing school. Any teenagers out there looking for a high paying, entry level job, cheesecake factory is your best bet.

I stopped by one of the Cheesecake Factory restaurants last week and from my experience, it seemed as though they've cut their budget in the area of properly training employees regarding good customer service skills. I've never been to a restaurant with such a horrible greeting in my life and it was supported by management waiting inside the door at a desk a few feet behind the unfriendly greeter! Inside, there was an almost empty restaurant with the number of cars in the parking lot standing as proof. No hustle and bustle inside as an unsmiling waiter slowly passed by me standing in line to order a piece of cheesecake because they "were so busy" it was going to be at least a 30 minute wait outside in the cold.....So, I reluctantly settled for a piece of my favorite cheesecake to go.... and even ordering that, I was treated as if they were doing me a big favor instead of my business being important to them!! The taste of the red-velvet cheese cake was still delicious despite having to go stand outside in the cold to wait for it (there were 2 people ordering cheese cake and I made up one of them)! Needless to say, the cheese cake counter for to-go orders wasn't busy either. We live approximately an hour and a half away so I am guessing, by the looks of things, many others had all ready experienced the total lack of congenial, humble and just plain basic quality customer service and appreciation! Congratulations to the Cheesecake Factory on 119th Street in Overland Park, Kansas on my award to you..... perhaps the corporate office will use this store as an example and present you with a visit to hopefully change things around so that myself and others who previously thought so highly of the place can still partake in going because personally, I've seen many stores with great food close at the expense of allowing their customer service to go down hill! I really hope this doesn't happen here! COVID is NO exCUSE FOR poor behavior!!

Covid19 didn't derail them, their quality of food yet raising prices did.. If it doesn't taste good straight out the oven to your table think about how bad it will be when you are using carry-out and have to reheat it.. Yuck! Let me also add that whoever was at the top didn't want to adapt and change so that's their fault..

One year, my Canadian friends came to L.A., and they took me to Cheesecake Factory. At 8:30PM, the waiting line was enormous. My friends chose to join the waiting line. Finally, we were called at 11:30PM. The food was served at 1AM. There was a long waiting line outside. I didn't have to pay for my meal, but it was mediocre service and food, and the pricing was excessive...a complete waste of my evening/night.
