They are in a near perfect location for this type of business, the Bay Area has lots of wealthy millennials who would go for something like this, and there will nearly always be good weather and great outdoor spaces for them to use

The price point is very smart. We have a company in Kelowna, Canada. That does luxury picnics but they charge $1,000 and it’s not much different. For that price, I’ll just go buy my own stuff from winners and set it up myself for my friends. For a few hundred but these women have done the best thing, I’d just pay for them to do it at those prices. Awesome!! Keep it up

@@kayw1771 well in my city on the east coast, people throw their own picnic gatherings. They ask friends for tarps, fold up tables, and may even build their own wooden structures. This applies to people aged 16-50. These two could make money on the east coast, but they’d have to pick the right city. I think part of the fun for the gatherings for most people is putting it all together

@@douba_plusa I think it depends on the location. Some people just pay for convenience. Look at all the food delivery apps that up charge on every item plus a delivery fee on top of it. They just happen to be a good location where people were willing to pay for this kind of service. Also, I think there is a pent-up demand to spend money and do something since most of America has been locked down where the only people could spend money on was food delivery and streaming entertainment. I am curious if they will still see demand as more of America open up and people can do other things than stay at home.

We do have heaps of picnic businesses here in Sydney Australia. It’s just pricy though but so beautiful and worth it. Prices range $150-200 per person it depends on the type of picnic party. ✨

I’ve been seeing picnics like this all over my friends feeds! Having a nice set up for birthdays, baby showers etc and even picnics is super popular right now. These people HAVE to make over 100k to live in these places. So they have money to spend AND the weather in the bay is perfect for outdoor activities it’s never tooooo cold or toooo hot. These young women have found a niche that they can service very well as they understand what their clientele wants. They are learning all about sales fulfillment, organization, time management, money allocation and management. They _WILL_ branch out as they get more experience.
