Seeing how some energy companies charge $0.11 per kwh (offpeak), it seems quite expensive to charge at $0.51 to $0.69 per kwh. Generally speaking most people would like to use DC fast charging which the system can't possibly provide. So you pay for a subscription plus a high kwh?

I think going foward they should consider setting up traditional charging stations (not mobile) to remain relevant in cities. Otherwise, they will be pushed out of cities when so many stations are available into areas less attractive for setting up stations like rural, roads with few centres along, and up country. Unless they'll be cheaper than traditional stations in cities. Having both mobile and traditional will cement their place for the long term.

The owner would start charging his car, adding 30 kWh or 100 miles in 20 minutes if charging at a rate of 100 kW. After charging the van would carry on to the next customer. Once the battery is depleted the van would return to base to charge the battery or replace it for a fresh one.

I think the only EV owners who have range anxiety are non-Tesla owners. The Tesla Super Charger network is years ahead of whatever they’re rolling out these days. This is overall goodness, but the elephant in the room is how no one talks about how great the Super Charger network is. I don’t like how this piece blankets the entire EV market as having trepidation about where they’ll charge their vehicle for long distance driving. Again, this fear is solely with non-Tesla owners.
