@@jones2277 that's true of anyone. If you have a traditional job, you could get laid off or injured, and end up with nothing. With his model, he has seven different streams of income. If one fails, he's still got six left. Plus the experience to adjust quickly.

I respect the guy that you featured in this video as well as the other content creators that you have featured thus far. However, as a viewer, we need to see diversity in terms of the stories that you feature. A great majority of the people that you featured are content creators and truth be told, not everyone can be a content creator and the level of interest in this aspect is declining significantly. KZbin as a platform has become very saturated content wise meaning the ones that joined the platform recently are having a hard time cracking the code so it's not inspiring a lot of people to be content creators as well as it did before. In terms of featuring people who don't work as much but earn a decent amount of money, you could possibly feature entrepreneurs like franchisees who do not necessarily need to be at the shop 8 hours a day since they have a Staff there and sales and operations can be monitored remotely...... just to cite an example of a possible content.

To people complaining about the influx of content creators, I say this: take a look at what they were doing before this. This guy has an engineering degree. That is a well playing job out of college. He started a side hustle in 2018 & quit his job completely in 2021, which means he was already planning & stashed away lots of money to plan a smooth seamless exit. We should start wondering how we can grab a lucrative & necessary career so we can try to be FI younger and/or be more in control of our lives

I think this is a good decision on a personal level - good for him - because working a corporate career can really wear you out and destroy you in the long run. However, having an amazon shop and being a youtuber teaching people how to run an amazon shop is not purposeful work. Imagine everybody becoming an amazon shop owner and youtuber, and nobody left doing the real jobs - our society would fall apart. So, although he found his niche there to avoid the hard work, which will be good for him I guess - society still needs doctors, scientists, nurses, lawyers, teachers, caretakers, carpenters, etc. He is certainly not a role model, except for escapism and "taking the easy path".

I like what he said at the end, that it's important to understand when enough is enough, financially or related to your time. Good on you Josh for thinking ahead, knowing you wanted to prioritize your family and time in the future, and therefore starting side hustles in your free time besides your full-time job. I'm glad they are working out for you because I imagine at the start they took up a ton of time. And your first 8 products failing, that must have been frustrating. So kudos for pushing through, learning from your failures, and ultimately finding what works. I'm sure your dad would be proud of you, and really cool to see you play golf with your grandfather. 😀

When most of your income streams revolves around how to sell on Amazon FBA? I mean, if you`re going to teach people on how to sell there, a major part of your income should come from selling physical products.

If anyone's wondering, his number of KZbin subs is 67K, so his $82K KZbin earnings are better than I thought for that number of subs. I think money/debt/side-hustle channels have a higher pay per click rate, from what I've heard.

Yeah, the click rate is dependent on the topic in question - money management/investment channels make the most, I believe. Music channels are probably the lowest.

This whole “seven streams of income” thing is overplayed and inauthentic. This is not “on the side” either

I like this series, but I want to see a wider range of income unrelated to KZbin, like in the early days. I like seeing people live their dreams and making a great income, but the KZbin repeats is becoming stale for my taste. Still love the channel, but eh.

@1:30 he didn’t count business expense and tax. Hey, btw, he made just only 13k from selling his merchandise in Amazon but made 82K by teaching his business tips in KZbin. 6 times more than Amazon profits.

So basically he makes his money from KZbin. No youtube! Most of those other streams don't happen. Totally unrealistic for most of us. The KZbin algorithm is American biased for a start. Plus this dude looks like a generic catalogue model. The algorithm & humans like that too. Well carry on.
