@Mr. Common sense my great grandfather was a Greek who died fighting the fascists in Europe, postponing the nazi military expansionist campaign by 2 months forcing the nazis to fight the Russians in the winter which ultimately what defeated them. So that puts me and my family on the left, and on the right side of history. Being Greek I have a natural distaste for fascism no matter what century I'm in, it's just in my blood. Furthermore, the identity politics that you subscribe to are what's destroying this country, everyone knows that the only party proposing any kind of solutions in Congress are coming from the left, not the Christian fascist right.

Short term US may win but long term china wins if US really sticks to these Tariffs. What do you want China to buy? You place military imbargo, space imbargo,, ban chips for china etc. I mean those first two fields alone could make up for the alleged trade deficit. You can't force someone to buy something they dont need. China will never bow to Trump and his cronies

This is the first time I see Warren emphasised on ‘things can get out of control and you don’t want it out of control’ across a few interviews.

It has been a matter of dispute among historians whether the presence of trade between two countries decreases the chances of war. There is also very, very strong evidence/examples where there was substantial trade yet wars broke out nonetheless. Free traders love to state their side of the issue, though it's far from settled.

She asks if they are concerned about ripples in the market, and (shocker !) 3 multibillionaires aren't worried ! Would you be in their positions ? Gates is a good monopolist, that's all. He followed the IBM model and used it against IBM with Microsoft. Not a visionary bone in his body. Buffett and Munger are brilliant, but they ave their interests. Think any owner of multinational businesses is going to say anything harsh about China ? Of course not, their job is to make their business successful. During the primaries, Bush tried to paint Trump as a closet Democrat by pointing to his attending Clinton functions and giving money to Democrats. Trump was very direct and honest answering, he pointed out that his job then was his business and he got along with all politicians to make the business successful. Buffett talked about what's the best outcome for everyone, but really misses the point (and I'm a fan). Trump's job now is NOT, repeat NOT "to do what's best for everyone". He said it constantly, and it's his job - "America First". That doesn't mean some race or ethnicity or gender, that is just simply to do the job of president, to be our advocate, for all of us, to get the best resolution for all of us in this country. Period.

The world would be a much better place if either one of these three wise men becomes the president of the great USA. They are the symbiotic American spirit that inspired the world to make a better future. Existing government is spending unscrupulously from America’s credibility account which a lot of hard working Americans build through the years. And we all know that account is not without any limit.
