As someone who’s worked for UPS for 5 years she’s a horrible CEO. Drivers hate her, management hates her, supervisors hate her, package handlers hate her. Her way of becoming more profitable is firing anyone who’s not union until warehouses become barely functional and then when numbers aren’t hit they’re shocked.

Do you believe all that hate could be because management was taking measures to cut down costs because of Amazon being a low profit client? Or those cost cutting measures would/will take place even if they manage to substitute Amazon for more profitable clients?

Agree! I work at The UPS Store, and every year the price for shipping and mailboxes goes up, while constantly bending the knee for Amazon. We see more frequent Amazon return customers that brings coins to the store than customers doing shipments

@@DJ_Casey I owned 2 UPS Stores in Northern CA from 2001(still MBE)-2008 and this was a problem way back then (not specifically amazon - but prepaid returns). Mike Eskew was the CEO. Shipping costs in addition to Royalties made it impossible to be profitable. I got out just before the housing bubble recession.

And by the way you Union's labor reps, workforce lawyers. You better start getting ahead of the ball. And start thinking longer term in terms of your plans. How to initiate them efficiently and get your work force in a stronger position for negotiating? Because these companies are making mints meet out of you. With this short-term 1950 strategy of we'll pick it when we want more money for the paychecks for our employees edit what's collect war or less dues. You guys are thinking more outside the box like your own company otherwise these unions are dead. But then again, maybe that's strategy. And all the representatives and lawyers are actually not working for the unions imagine that

Half of what said was a lie.. ive watched surepost offices go from 300-500 pieces to over 1500 last year. Her goal is to always rotate work around and keep less bids out while over working their employees. Then they threaten us because there isnt enough staffing, by saying that we can take all the work from managment when we are already working 12 - 14 hours a day . Yet they refuse to fill open slots that they created in the past.. there has not been a ft hire in 2 years for my building.

What she is saying about UPS is not translating on the street. UPS is definitely a "shrinking" company! It is not a "growing" company in any way! UPS needs to do a few things to get back to it's successful days. 1. It needs focus to on damages! 2. UPS is using the "exception" entry on many packages to save money and not make service. That needs to cease immediately! 3. They need to hire sales reps and give those reps the ability to compete with the competition! 4. They need to get back to being the image-focused company they used to be. Their drivers look like thugs and the trucks are no longer clean. (not to mention the centers)
