Next time a guy comes to your shop with an idea or drawing for a part that he thinks should be maybe $200, you show them this video to see what it takes to make his part and why one off parts will always be expensive. Good video Bavaria. only showing the important stuff that actually helps you.

That's an awesome fixture and part! What kind of quantity do you have to make for these?
@BavariaCNC3 жыл бұрын
I do make those fixtures from a start of 10 pcs (i mean customer has to pay that) but here we had 400pcs so costs for it are not that big point

Awesome, can you tell me why you had to install the second zero point device and on top of that the fixture? Why not directly on the base zero point plate?
@hdfanboy3 жыл бұрын
It would be purely for clearance. If he mounted the fixture plate directly to the base spindle clearance would become an issue. Adding the 2nd zero point device adds probably another 100mm off the table for extra clearance.
@BavariaCNC3 жыл бұрын
Steven explained it pretty good! it is all about clearance to the table, I wouldn’t need it for this job, but I made it my own standard always to use it.

Why is the C-Axis is rotating when you milling in Top Plane?
@BavariaCNC2 жыл бұрын
I plane in the part in the beginning and the machin will move A and C axis so it will match the meassurment ( I will make a video about it )

Why did you have the face mill take off the hat around the perimeter of the part first? What material are you cutting?
@BavariaCNC3 жыл бұрын
those areas that are not connected to the part it self could easily cause damage to the tool / part if i mill them with the regular cut. So I take them away before it
@diegoman1233 жыл бұрын
have you used another software to program, besides solidcam, to your components?
@BavariaCNC3 жыл бұрын
HI, no so far I only used SolidCAM but I was happy so no need to change =)
@jaden76463 жыл бұрын
@BavariaCNC3 жыл бұрын
(waren 400 Teile)
@jaden76463 жыл бұрын

what CAM do You use?
@tobiasbrechelmacher32963 жыл бұрын
@BavariaCNC3 жыл бұрын
@tobiasbrechelmacher32963 жыл бұрын
