Wow! I've been a fan of Mike's innovative plan with the one town and wrap around approach to staging since it was first published. To see it in action and his artistic work -- in the context of operations -- has really inspired me.

That part where the Airstream is on top of the bridge, and all the greenery covers the edge? BEAUTIFUL work. I really like the trees-hiding-the-edges thing, and the soft, hidden nature of this work!

+Brian Fahrlander This layout is very clever and has been highlighted as one of the great model railroads of our time by Model railroader magazine.

the cross at 5:00 is so awesome and the layout is very well thought out and the scenery is very good ...thanks for sharing it ...I got into the hobby when my father bought me a HO train while i was in the hospital I was hit by a drunk driver while riding a bike back in 73 I am now 48 and i have had most of the scales but have found N scale to be one that you can run long trains and have more in a small space...

I noticed that Mike has added the lighting equipment hood modifications to all the GP7s on the B&M Freight train. Nice touch.

Fantastic! This is some of the best model RRing I've seen on YT. Gorgeous layout and the narrative of operation is concise. So good I subscribed to the channel.

Well, a very nicely done layout. However, the B&M road crew now has a "time slip" for the dispatcher. IOW, a day's pay for performing duties out of their job description. PS, I'm retired Santa Fe. LOL

Mike's Railroad is a classic in concept. Round the room staging with two ended staging and fun operations plan. He had a few friends help him with the design and he is one of those can do kinda modellers this being his first layout and it was built in a relatively short period of time.

I love the detail of these layouts you could live in them!!! When did you start building this one? It's either a full time endeavor or you started when you were 12 years old.
@CNLVN Жыл бұрын
Mikes layout has been around for years but it was built in a three to four year period.
