@Michael Freed, Pretty convoluted reasoning there, Michael. Part of this story is that a lot of this information Was out there for years, but the police weren't digging deeper into it, and the news outlets weren't reporting on it more. The women felt ignored. Hannibal drew attention to what was already known when other comedians weren't. Many of the women were angry that it took This to draw attention to Cosby's drugging and raping women over the years. Then Cosby opened his big mouth and attacked the credibility of one of his alleged victims, Constandt, who had signed a non-disclosure agreement as part of her settlement with Cosby. A judge ruled that he violated his part of the settlement agreement, and unsealed his grand jury testimony. Everything went downhill for him after that. If he had just not attacked her character (which had Nothing to do with Hannibal's act about him), Cosby would have gotten away with everything...

I would say it's actually worse -- because clearly Lili was gearing up for some breach-of-promise or legal evidentiary thing via recording their phone-calls and saving the tapes for 20+ years -- "Mr. C, you said you'd put me on your show, we've talked about it 3 times, what's up with that" -- but [apparently] did not document the alleged abuse or violation. False allegations can get anyone. One day it could be you and people could be saying the same shit about you you’re saying about Bill. The point is you weren’t there. I wasn’t there. We can’t know for sure that things truly happened the way they say it did. Many innocent people have gone to the chair. Many innocent people went to jails for crimes they didn’t commit. If the Central Park 5 case has taught us anything it’s that. Just because you’re convicted in court it doesn’t mean you’re guilty. There are powerful people in this world who pull the strings. If Bill Cosby who was so powerful he could blackball actors and stop their tapes being played on the radio how much more powerful are the people above him? And what if he should cross or piss them off? Things aren’t always as they seem. These stories from these woman would be far more plausible if they had learning disabilities and mental ages of 5 or 10 year olds or if he was doing these things to 5 or 10 year olds but the idea of a woman allowing a guy to force a glass of drink down them so they drank faster doesn’t at all sit right with me. She could have spat the drink in his face, got up and walked away. Sure she probably wouldn’t of worked again in her chosen field but she wouldn’t of been fucked either. She sold her soul and principles like many actresses in Hollywood, continuing down a rabbit hole even though she knew where it was going, because she wanted to advance her career. She made a choice. She knew the cost. Producers seduce actresses with the promise of better roles all the time. Is it rape or an exchange? I’d say it’s an exchange, a piece of Pussy for a booming career and a pay cheque. The guilt of what they did, the shame of it leads them to make false allegations of rape 20-30 years later so they can get that pay cheque. Yes Bill had power and influence but those girls had more power in that they had something he wanted and they had the power and choice to say no and walk away. I’m a guy, do you think I would go to P diddy’s house or the home of a powerful producer that I knew fucked men, to read lines or discuss a music project? I use that example because just as in the scenario I know the male producer is gay these women know that Bill is not. He’s a heterosexual man with an eye for the ladies. They went to his home and hotels to be alone with him knowing that he would find them attractive. That’s like me going to P Diddies house wearing low back sacking jeans showing my arse crease with that Cali Kush (other weed products are available), high as fuck and asking if he has anything strong to drink. That’s pretty much code for come and get it!

It's a karma thing. Once upon a time he was behaving recklessly by taking advantage of his position. Today he's reaping what he sowed back then. It's all coming back to him. The lesson is to be aware how you treat people. If you take advantage of them, they will come after you and take advantage of your mistakes. I agree there is a big difference between getting aassaulted in a dark ally vs associating with a morally corrputed person in power who takes advantage of his position. It wasnt like the victims were blindsided and had no choice. They all kept quiet hoping for a break in their careers. Nevertheless, his behaviour paved his way to prison. I feel no sympathy for him. None. He did it to himself

I don’t like how that narrator said Cosby taught black Americans to “behave”, like b** excuse you?
@debramorris82396 жыл бұрын
I have yet to see Cosby as a pedophile, like the last video I watched, here. It still amazes me how so many networks could slander Cosby so badly, and not even question any of those women's accusations, let alone feel any remorse for the poor actor. I don't know, but if he did perform any sexual acts with (adult) women, I don't believe any was harsh abusee, and the women were responsible for being aware of their whereabouts and actions. Therefore, like one of the videos I just saw on Mr. Cosby about him being on his death bed, and health has gone downhill ever since he was accused of the felonies which happened many years ago. I still watch old episodes of the Cosby Show, and prefer to remember him as he was (or appeared) then. I had also heard about at least one episode of The Cosby show, when he bounced little girls on his lap, and patted them on the butts. That was acceptable to put on the air, and I guess now wouldn't be. I think it just might be possible that the actor really did love kids! About a year ago I saw a video with Phyilicia Rashad, his leading woman on The Cosby show, and she only said good things about him, and so did the actors who played his kids on the show. That made me inclined to think he wasn't so bad as people want to think. I hope at least after he does pass away that people don't continue to slander him so badly!
@mianta554 жыл бұрын
Well stated. It is difficult to feel sorry for "victims" who have repeated experiences from the same person, especially adults who should know better. Not one of them filed charges or had rape kits ran? That is suspicious. Sounds like a setup.

True Brother Wait a minute...you are blaming “her”? What does the Bible say about doing that? Im pretty sure hundreds of women met with Weinstein in spite of him being a notorious cheater. Does that make them “whores”?
@dianac24985 жыл бұрын
True Brother So what I hear you saying is any woman who meets with a man who is married, without knowing his wife - is a whore. Or is it just “he cheats on his wife and I need to meet with him because...he is my boss, my father figure, etc., but if I meet with him - without his wife being there, the Bible says I’m a whore.” So...a woman is a whore if she does not take care of the moral responsibilities (sacred contracts) of others? Or does the Bible say a woman who is raped deserved it because she went to talk with a man who she knew was a cheater? Or she deserved to be raped because she met with him without his wife being present? I guess I’m needing clarification because that isn’t in my Bible. How about the sin of the man who is doing it to begin with!? Or does that not matter? He has no accountability in here because the Bible says its the woman’s responsibility to not tempt him because ...he is just a walking penis? Does it say that? Im pretty sure Ed Gein’s mom would have thought so but its unusual in this day and age that anyone else would think this way so I’m sure I’m misunderstanding your point.
