I can't even imagine how much pain she had or if she felt like being punished by death sentence. It was her LIFE, her breath, the only thing she ever loves that much. It is like telling a painter that is not gonna be able to paint anymore, or telling a writer not to write anymore. I could feel the sadness and this really happened in real life, about 20-25 years ago. It's not that simple.

Everything changes when another person is put in danger. It's a sickening thing to plan and do to someone else. You can't expect others to look at one the same after something like that. It's disgusting behavior. Maybe forgive. But, certainly not forget... and according to Kerrigan, Harding never directly apologized to her. It really shows how much Harding didn't care.
@sarahscunnin10096 жыл бұрын
@@wildcountingdayswithourcan2519 if she actually did plan it. Who knows... looks like she had a really hard life....
@wildcountingdayswithourcan25196 жыл бұрын
@@sarahscunnin1009, there is just so much evidence pointing to Harding and her involvement. The fact that she got a plea deal is her getting off easy. Yes, she struggled in life after this. But, with all the evidence pointing to her involvement, she's lucky she didn't receive any prison time. Plus, I find it difficult to feel sorry for the person that was sending Kerrigan death threats. If all parties involved hadn't been caught, it makes me wonder how far they would have gone... what they would have been okay with doing. It's a great thing they were all caught. Harding has had a hard life after all this, but considering everything that happened, she got off easy. I see her life struggles as her sentence served for her involvement in the crime. She could've gotten so much worse, and didn't. I just can't find myself feeling sorry for her. Not after what happened. Kerrigan is the one who was the victim, not Harding. But, over 20 years later, and it almost seems like Harding was able to convince enough people that she was the victim in the whole scenario. Once you send death threats to your competition, and have much evidence against you, playing the victim should go out the window. But, for whatever reason, she's believed. Just watching her, she gives off uneasy vibes, and is inconsistent with her story over the years. She's lying, time and time again, but she had a movie put out that is sympathetic to her side, and now so many are saying she's innocent... even though it was just her opinion on what happened. I think it's too obvious that she wasn't innocent in all this. Too much evidence says otherwise. She'd be better off just to stop talking about it, because she's only keeping the light on her about the situation. Instead, she chooses to go on and on and on about it, for decades. Being inconsistent in her story, and never directly apologized to Kerrigan. She dug herself a deep hole, and she'll never get out of it. The fact that she denys her involvement, even to this day, with all her inconsistencies, and lies, is surprising. Harding made her bed, and now she's lying in it. There's just too much evidence on her involvement, for me to feel sorry about her life struggles. Not too many are willing to forgive her, but how can the world even forget, when Harding keeps bringing it up over and over again? It seems even in time, she hasn't learned from her mistakes.

And being one myself I kinda feel for her... I was a child when this happened... now that I'm an adult I understand it a bit better... there is no excuse for doing this to another athlete... and she has quite the priveledged life now... but... I dunno... if her life was that hard... that friggin sucks.

I mean, this was the 80s-90s. Wouldn’t be the first time a man did some horrible shit and didn’t tell his woman , the way he used to beat her, have no respect for her, talk down to her, which is all proven, it’s not hard for some to believe that they only told her bits and pieces or didn’t tell her much at all in an attempt to “keep the woman out of the mens business” . Plus the perpetrators said the plan changed many times, the fat dude that organized it all literally asked them to cut that girls Achilles. I don’t actually think Tonya would have wanted all that to happen. I don’t believe a woman would have taken it that far, call me biased but.
