I still have a fil brand backpack I bought at best buy 15 years ago. Still holds up. Has a padded separate section for a 15-6 laptop, plenty of padding, compartments, drink holders. Red and black motif. Blows away everything I've seen here and I think I got it for $49.99

I use messenger bags , made in China backpacks detoriate from the inside. First the inner padding starts crumbling then the zippers stop working. And the expensive ones, not the dime a dozen retail
