Mr. Seward passed away on February 15, 2012 at the age of 101. He was still going to work 3-4 times a week up until the end of 2011; just a few months before his death.

What so he didn’t make enough all those years to eat? Most people would like to retire at 65 or earlier, people should work to live not live to work, for nearly all people working till they die would be slavery. If a small number of people want to keep working because they just like it so much, then go ahead keep working, if they are doing sonething they enjoy that much, that is often desk work like this guy, or maybe an artist or something. The corporate media and corporate politicans like to show this as an ideal, work people till they drop dead so low wage wage slaves, and people with little to no benefits will just accept this.

Just a quick update for anyone who cares, because I remembered when I left this comment- My grandfather passed away Dec 11, 2020. My dad flew down to Georgia and got to be there with him, my grandma, and my two aunts just before he passed. He fell asleep on Friday around 5:30 pm, with all 4 of his family members on the bed with him, and then he passed on about 30 minutes later. He was 90.
