So true story, I put a few hive minds into a game of Stellaris called Kyle and Allison because in your first video it looked like you were a hive mind. Anyway, Kyle consumed a good chunk of the galaxy before running out of steam just as he bumped into Allison. Allison, who had been nearly inert at that point, proceeded to eat all of Kyle until he was a single- system vestigial limb to Allison's space empire. I'm not sure what this means yet. Oh, Josh was there too, but he got beaten up by tomatoes.

I love Cities: Skylines. It's awesome. The Night Life(?) DLC is great! Day/night cycle that has gameplay mechanics? Shut up and give me the deluxe bundle! Public transport DLC? Just what this already-awesome game needs! Wishlisted! Natural Disasters? Great! Wishlisted! Winter? Oh I bet that's gonna be cool. What? It's just one map that's eternally winter? Oh well. Maybe they'll hit the next one. University, national park, industrial complex management? Yea... those are cool I guess. Fisheries? Umm... pass. The same goes with Stellaris.

Except for maybe plant/fungus hiveminds, if that can even be considered when they don't even have really a continuous process of awareness as far as we know. Ants are probably a better idea of how a hivemind in stellaris would work (not to mention explains why theres different jobs for hivemind pops depending on where they work)

I get the feeling that this whole script is an argument between the sleep deprived but super frustrated side of Kyle and the sleep deprived slow mind Kyle about whose turn it is to take control of his body while he waters his cactus and throws out a gecko he found in the house. I so want to be a friendly hivemind, but the game makes it so freaking hard. Every other race finds you so alien that they find it hard to relate to you and then there are the a-holes that hate you for what you are. Plus the empire restrictions don't really help when you want to integrate other races. Your options basically amount to slavery or building a whole federation. Its really hard being an empire of technically one person.

Your guys' skits are always funny, but this has to be one of the most hilarious ones in a while. I loved it. Even with just minimal experience with Stellaris, the jokes still land because they're also about other video game/sci fi tropes. How do hive minds determine which one of them is the leader? Playing as a hivemind means, that I get to fuck around in a tiny tiny sealed of Galaxy quadrant. With a handful of systems / planets and only one access. Giving me hours of time to stockpile troops at my border and try to understand how the ship designer and planet menus work. While my friend that actually knows how to play the game rules as supreme emperor of EVERYTHING, micromanaging our vast space lands in the most minute details and feeding me Ressources, so I stay occupied and don't break anything...
