I learned to fly at OAK. Used to fly to Half Moon Bay for lunch, then fly over GGB, finish back at OAK or HWD. Now I fly 787s to SFO or over the Bay Area as I fly to Asia. Thanks for reminding me that view from a Cessna.

@@FruitandSup It was called Sierra Academy of Aeronautics. I used to work at the Korean Air Pilot Training Center, but the original school is closed. New owner reopened it in the San Joaquin Valley somewhere now. I used to flight instruct in Oakland, Hayward, Livermore, and Tracy airports. I still can't believe it when I fly to ICN and go visit family in Seoul.
