Something I found really neat about Season 4 is how they address how little things like the court being different can mess with you. Me too. Watching Haikyuu made me go to my memories of middle and high school time as a netball and hockey player. Different sport but same experiences. My middle school is a no powerhouse of netball and hockey. I experienced 2 years of lose and frustration both in middle and high school. But only in my last senior years in both middle and high school that I won a sport competition. That feelings was exhilarating and amazing, to be able to defeat a powerhouse school even though my school is a no name in both netball and hockey. That was my wonderful memories and experienced to be able to taste defeat, frustration, determination, hope and win. It shape me to be who I am today. Even if Haikyuu is completely different sport, I still can relate to every moment in Haikyuu. And that made Haikyuu a special place in my heart next to KnY.

I've been a competitive swimmer since 4y grade, my dad forced me into swim team, I then realized how much I hated the sport, It was so lonesome, and the environment was toxic. For the past 3 years the only event I would enjoy and put my best into were relays, when I felt like I had to improve for my relay team rather then myself. When sixth grade came around I was introduced to volleyball, I immediately feel in love with the rush of adrenaline you get while waiting for a serve to pass the net, diving for a ball begging to reach it in time. I began to practice with a group of friends during our 30 minute lunch break for about half a year. Last year during seventh grade I was finally given the chance to participate in the sport after we school with people who also loved the sport. I was lucky to be put into a supportive and amazing team of the seventh grade JV 2. We all knew we weren't as good as the varsity girls, who consisted of people who have been playing club, so none of us expected each other to be perfect, unlike the other 6 teams we all became extremely close, and would even come together after school to play practice games. We had our moments we shared together like making our opponents form our cross town Rival team cry during our first game, when we won 3-0, And our surprise when we realized we had won the most games out of all the 6 teams winning all 3 sets in all the 3 games we had the chance to play. We even cried together when the school announced our season would be cut short due to covid, I especially cried hard when I came home because I had been doing horrible that week using practice, and I realized that would probably be the last time I would ever get to play. Thankfully the situation has gotten better, and I'm going to be able to play volleyball this year, before high school. Ive already been told by my parents that their going to force me to do swim, and even if I wanted Volleyball will be even more competitive, and runs at the same time as swim.

Other crazy schools and players you should react to, and what their mainly about: Nekoma: unbreakable defense. Kuroo is a great blocker and has some good plays with his setter Kenma. Aoba Johsai: Oikawa is the setter and one of the biggest “villains” in the show. He’s the one with the crazy serve. Shiratorizawa: Ushijima is their left-handed wing spiker and ace, honestly everyone on that team is amazing. Tendou is another big one from there. Fukurodani: Bokoto was the one with the crazy back muscles in a few videos back. Inarizaki: The Miya twins, specifically Atsumu’s serves and sets to his brother, Osamu. Aran is the ace there, and Suna’s spikes are crazy!!! Kurasuno: I know you’ve seen plenty of Hinata and Kageyama, but Asahi an Tanaka have some great plays too. Also, watch Noya’s receives and Tsukki’s block as least ONCE I’m begging you!

I actually knew about Haikyuu for a long time as a big anime watcher, but never wanted to start it because it seemed "too popular" but I decided to just watch it and every episode made me tear up and I realized how much I want to play Volleyball and learn it from the beginning. Although I'm 26, female, short 5'1'', and I don't know my vertical jump, but I just invested in my very first Volleyball today and will start learning at home! At the risk of asking for too much, it might be worth considering reacting to the entire show. The episodes themselves give a lot more detail and obviously more context for what's happening in these clips than the compilations show. Even if you didn't do full reaction videos, watching the episodes would allow you to pick out clips these compilations always skip over that can be used as good teaching moments. to " cheat" aka watch the show with less reading, watch it DUBBED on netflix and later S3-S4 you watch on crunchyroll to get caught up. I only played volleyball in my senior yr of high school and wish I started sooner. I ended up being the JV captain and being a setter. At the end of our season there was a school who was known to have a great team and even had training camps throughout the year and going to state every year. They were very experienced and most had been training since early elementary school. During our match with them we were losing, we were something like 11-20. I was up to serve and within the short time I had played I noticed I was exceptional at it and could manage a strong floating serve. I managed to get our team 20-21 on my serves alone and my team managed to still win the set. I came to realized knowing that team was known to be so good made me want to try even harder and give 110 percent. It also made me realize how much time I had wasted when for years I could have been developing those skills and could have possibly joined my other friends on the Varsity team. So my point is go out and try something even if you are unsure about it you might just be great at it.

Also just some background information to help you better understand: Hinata and Kageyama started of not liking each other and before Kageyama got to karasuno (there current team) he was called the king of the court because he basically ruled it all, everything was done his way and he liked it that way BUT...when he started playing with karasuno his whole personality is changing little by little because karasuno has a great set of players that he can always rely on 💅🏽 When Kageyama says “Sorry to keep you waiting” hes saying that because previous to that moment his sets have been off and the team hasn’t really been able to hit them that well. When hinata says something about “Im just so happy to he here” He is a quote on quote “super crazy volleyball freak” He eat, sleeps and breathes volleyball aswell as Kageyama ⚠️IN MY OPINION⚠️ they are a packaged deal 😄 Kageyama is at his best when hes olaying with hinata and hinata is DEFINITELY at his best when hes playing with Kageyama ⚠️MY OPINION⚠️ Ok and when hinata forgot to hit the ball he was trying something new with how he starts off his jump and he got really excited and forgot to hit the ball 🤣 And last but not least You do not have to watch the show if you dont have the time!! Of course you will never fully understand it because haikyuu is SOO much more than just them playing volleyball...there are the relationships and bonds between the characters, each and every one of there unique personalities and the emotions in the anime- Im probably way to deep into it but I love haikyuu so much...except the new art style 😑 You probably wont read this all because ik its a lot but I hope this helped someone lol

so in the scene where Hinata forgot to hit I was because the moment he jumped higher than usually because if he watch his other approaches and this one you can see that in this one he slams his foot down in order to give him a higher vertical and it was his first time so he forgot to hit😂

You guys are freaking awesome! I got your Ultimate Jump Bundle right last January but injuries plagued me until July:( But I've started the Project Vertical program and can't wait to see the results! I'm 17 and my vertical is 29", and I'm hoping the Missing Link can play a part in helping me for from a libero to an outside!

In case you didn't know, Hinata is only 5'4". Just a bit of context as to why so many players are impressed by his plays.

"LITTLE GIANT" is a legendary nickname Hinata wants because he got his inspiration to play volleyball from the OLD version LITTLE GIANT who once plays at national and his the ACE at KARASUNO from that time and his number is also #10, so Hinata thinks it's destiny that he also got #10 from the starting line up and in season 4 he realizes that he's not the only short player in the tournament. Hoshiumi (#5) is the Upgrade version of Hinata... In High School atleast.
