Always easier to go to the left. The foot work to go to your right is so much more technical, IMO. What's your take CA?

And for the guys who think it's not... just try it... lol It's like the chicken/jab or the egg/step. Which came first?

I'm 50 and I have a lot of health problems but I try to keep active on the heavy bag when I can. I like this drill brother - pop the jab, step back out of range, sidestep to the left and repeat, keeping the left shoulder (orthodox) pointed at the target / opponent. Thank you from Liverpool, UK coach. 🤜🏼🤛🏼

Very important fundamentals. I put a hula hoop and ask my son to jab in a circle while having his foot and shoulder facing the middle. If he doesn't go in a good circular motion he steps on the hula hoop and he knows he made a mistake. Great video!

Excellent drill that teaches maintaining proper distance and stance in relation to your opponent. These are basic concepts that have a significant impact on a fighter's actual fighting proficiency. The use of the mitt as a visual cue in genius.

Your teaching method is Supreme to me ,I have watched many many boxing coaches on videos and you are the best and I think is because you have over 20 years of experience , while the rest of the coaches have 10 years more or less!!! You are indeed a master in your craft!!
@AltonCrooks3 жыл бұрын
You should do a video on circling to the right as a righty. It is a lot harder for a righty to jab while moving right than left. And moving left puts you in danger because if you are fighting a righty you are moving to your opponents right hand.
@abdullaali37353 жыл бұрын
after one or two jab not directly circle around to not get caught by right hand, this what i keep thinking about keep away from heavy hand, so step back then circle around or i can step back and just step left instead of stepping left same time after jab which will get caught instantly going to the right hand directly, i start to slip in my shadow, i must go down little bit my knees when i slip, i will repeat that like baseball hand parry for jab, i just move my hand in front of my nose and face and come back fast in cover position, i like it already, thank you very much coach anthony, i can box with super understanding of boxing and look more simple now in my gym.

Coach, I can’t lie, I wanted to sign up for your course, but I’m actually heading into a place called 10 rounds of boxing here local to me. I think I want a real person with real people to spar with… however, it was you that made me say to myself “ i can do this Philly shell”

Coach Anthony. I just picked up your KZbin videos while looking up some boxing combos I could try and I like the techniques you teach but I was curious to see it in actual real life in a fight so I looked up some of the fights of Eddie Chambers and I was wondering where it all went. He looks great in your training videos but in the ring I was unable to find many of the counter punches or defense moves you teach. Is that the norm? I know the theory is it’s not the same when you getting hit back but the fights against boxer from Poland and Washington I was looking for your knowledge in the fighter. Sorry. I did not see it. I’m not bragging or saying I’m a person with boxing knowledge but I do have eyes.
