Coastal Foraging MY FIRST EVER HAND CAUGHT BLUE LOBSTER!!

This video is about coastal foraging for blue lobster and scallops at low tide in South Devon, UK. I came across a beautiful lobster which was amazing and my first time catching lobster by hand off the beach. The video ends with a home cook up with the whole family!

- I can see me commenting a lot on this. Firstly, brilliant cinematography I’d love to pick your brain on how you do the B roll stuff. Bloody brilliant. Edit: I’ve had the same problem with the built in mic audio after a dunking. It’s a water drop on the mic isn’t it. 😫

What are the chances another Lobster/Brown Crab will be in the same hole next visit, is it as high as 50% for example? I suppose the low tide dictates how frequent you can revisit this spot. Love you vids btw.

Trevor Burgess - Exactly that Trevor. Your a limited by the tides. Some spots you can only get to once a month.

Thanks Joe - another beauty! What a find! Georgia and Fred have just enjoyed watching it this morning. We went and did a bit of amateur foraging round Brixham harbour and Breakwater beach the other day - we found a baby eel, a scallop (shell!), some oysters (bit dodgy-looking), a ‘mermaid’s purse’ (a big one!) and a recently moulted crab 🦀. But no shipwreck, alas! Georgia is inspired by your videos. Thanks you for taking the time. 👍👌
