I especially love this channel since I traced my family to Wales before they went to the US. Now knowing this, and it’s maybe 4-5 generations back that came over - even if that’s quite some time ago I’m still happy because I knew nothing and figured it out and want to know where my folks came from.

I’m gonna be diving back into my family tree and trying to figure out more of where they lived- I suspect they did some type of work that had them moving around a bit, I’m not sure, like they were following the jobs around. It’s hard though, there’s a lot of John Jones’s and I’ve no other family to get information from.

Hi Owen , I''ve spent many happy years exploring every nook and cranny of the coast of West Wales from Pembrey in Carmarthenshire to St Davids in Pembrokeshire and all points in between . I don't think that there is book on the subject I havn't read. I used to keep a large salt water aquarium to study the fish and invertibrates that live on our coast. My tip on identification is to obtain at least 3 books and compare the photographs. There is also Marlin , an online guide to the creature on our coast. I hope this helps, regards Craig

You have inspired us to take our 3 grandson's on coastal holidays/walks this year in place of the standard spoiling them at Legoland/Alton Towers treats. To see our boys so excited as they roam and hunt along the beaches and rocks pointing out everything they see is a gift that is soley down to your making and I honestly thank you with all my heart Craig. The only negative factor is I find myself tearing up alot as I watch the boys so free and alive, but apparently its ok for a man to cry in a 21st century. lol

Hey Craig, just wondering if you'll ever consider making a youtube series guide for foraging? For example, One series could be about showcasing the poisonous vegetation, fruits etc. How to differentiate between them etc. Another series could be about foraging in general.
