The reputation for Saudi Arabia will probably deter a lot of visitors. Building a theme park in Saudi Arabia is like building a theme park in Iran. One look at the countries reputation will cause theme parks attendance to underperform.

The 2025 season is gonna be a little quiet around my parts. The only large-ish new additions in Denmark for 2025 are an Adventure trail (ie obstacle course) at Djurs Sommerland, and at Fårup Sommerland theyre revitalising their entrance area with a new entrance gate. And no new coasters in the Nordics at all afaik for 2025. So its a bit of downtime but to be fair weve also had economic unsurity in the region following covid with inflation, plus in the previous decade weve had several big investments like Fønix, Vindfald, Dragekongen, Saven, T-Rex Family coaster, Mælkevejen, etc just in Denmark alone.

Seems like the UK had its year in 2024 with Nemesis Reborn, Hyperia and Gold Rush. 2025 is gonna be a bit more quiet over here I think, other than Toxicator (or Project Ocean) at Alton. There are some rumblings about a Minecraft-themed indoor coaster coming to Chessington as well as something to replace Scorpion Express but I don't expect a 2025 opening for either of those!

Maybe more weight can make it not as rough but I don't know, its bobbing a lot and Thunderbird doesn't have this problem.

I don’t love some of their coasters. Their dive coasters really need some innovation. They all feel the same and somehow the oldest ones are still the best. That said imo B&M overall are doing good things. Their hypers and Gigas are great. Plus I really think that rapterra will be pretty good

I have a feeling B&M diversified their supply chain as a result of steel tariffs and now use a lower quality steel. Just a hypothesis, but I have a feeling they felt price pressure from suppliers. I work for a steel manufacturer in innovation, and the timing lines up. You either pass on that tariff price to the park (not likely), B&M eats the cost (not likely) or negotiate with suppliers (fairly likely).
